It's a decent read but if you have read shit tons of novels of this genre then you will quickly lose interest after first 100 chapters. To anyone who is relatively new to xianxia, i would highly recommend this. But for tenured readers who are looking for something new, this may come as generic or bland. I read first 100 chapters, world building and everything was explained very well, then I took a break and since then I tried to get back into the novel but finding it not so interesting.

the mc is arrogant. This is understandable coz of his background. I have seen many people who do lesser or menial jobs but they have pride & arrogance which touch the sky. Congrats to the author who has acutely grasped this fact & portrayed this in the mc.
Aside from that this nov is your typical plot armor novel but is bearable to read.
Also there are some plot holes here and there. For example, in the 1st arc, the mc impersonates as a 'mysterious senior' to sell pills in treasure hall. But the said senior gets paid in sect contributions which he receives using his identity token and no one is wiser about his identity.
