The first point is about the treasures in this universe, that are way too commun and don't have anything to do with raising someone's potential
Rather it is focused on raising their current level, which has more to do with speeding it up than anything else
At best, it's all about crossing a certain threshool, but even that is not particulary specified
And I feel like real treasure should have more to do with overall potential than current growth, otherwise it's just ressources
Then comes another problem, elements don't really have identities, it's always that guy attack, this guy defends and so on, but they don't particulary counters each other or excel in some domains
For exemple light could obliterate the darkness element, when the darkness element could crumble any kind of defense except for light defenses and so on
And this topic is never spoken of, but I feel like it would be very reasonable for certain elements to excel in defence while others excel in offence, or for some to simply be bad
Because there is no way in hell that fire could ever cut earth, and it doesn't make sense that it would
Just like it's not explained how space elementalist really attacks or how people defends against it
Anyway this is one of the drawbacks of which I'm not too fond of

Then comes the rest :
The fact that humans do not fight fire with fire and limits themselves, when I speak of that I'm speaking of necromancism, which is an incredible tool that would even the odds with the gnomes or at least drastically increase their chances, but instead they find it "evil" when they spend their times killing each others, as if desacrating the deads was even worse
So yeah, so this part, doesn't make any sense to me, just like the fact that necromancer would ever side with gnomes over humans when the gnomes hates them
Just sharing a commun technique does not make you allies, and just like there is bad necromancers, there should be goods too
Anyway, that's my take on it

Now comes the problems of the elements, the mc should have gone with the disclosure of his space element, his light element, his electricity, his earth, and his darkness for a lot of reasons
First of because the water element while verstile can be compensated by all the rest, because the fire element should be garbage and because the wind element should only be optional and that it doesn't bring as much as the rest
The darknes element can allow you do to necromancy and is reputed for his strenght, his ability to poison people and corode them, but it lacks speed which the light element doesn't as it is the element that boost you the most in term of speed
So if you combine speed with strenght, you automatically becomes a beast
And the light element, allows you to increase your speed ten times more than what the electricity or wind should, so it's easy to understand why it's so broken
Plus that element allows you to heal yourself or other, which is broken in long fights, which happen all the time, the only drawback is it's consuption of essence, but the mc has no problem with it, as he almost has an unlimited pool of it
So yeah, their use is a given, just like the space or earth element is, for their mobility and defense, as for the electricity, it's for it's offense and it's way to stike in a direct manner and very rapidly
So that's for the elements
Another point that is interesting is that light is a direct counter to gnomes that spends their time hunting the mc, so focusing on it would make a lot of sense, but he never use it
I mean idk, but if I was him and that I had such an element, I would make use of it right away

And the final point is pretty obvious but never talked of
it's the fact that the mc or his friends never have any encounter with anyone above their levels, ever, even when they are tracked by everyone on earth, that they made their localisation known and that they don't move, this doesn't make any sense, and isn't even related to chance in any kind of way
In truth, if everyone is looking for you, among which an incredible number of powerhouse and that you don't hide, they will forcely find you, the alternative is just not possible
So if he had a guardian that delt with it for him, I would have said okay, but he doesn't even
The truth is that all it takes for a genius among genius to die in this world, is to have one bad encounter, that's it, and the mc is no exception to this rule
