        i don't just like how mages fight. There is no 'intimacy' in their fights. Just imagining them far away shooting spells at each other that take time to load is so boring to read for me however few of them are OK. Anyways that point the person who can cast a faster spells would win. Sword or spear do it for me. Preferably, melee combat...yeah with Qi or mana release.

        But MLB novels are addictive or what's the word they get you hooked from the 1-5th and you can never leave them , while this novel is not that ,its a slog. Wonder why it got such better rankings

    Not really unique but still above average in my opinion. My only problem in this novel is the pacing is kind of between slow and average. Also..... guys before you drop this because of the inconsistency in the start where he can't kill people.....can you guys atleast read the chapter where Alex will have his character development........ in short he will turn into Shang? Trust me that part will give you chills. Anyway overall 3.5/5★
