    Finally finished this masterpiece.
    It was a beautiful journey.
    Its a solid 10/10 and a must read for everyone.

    Like some of my fellow daoists mentioned its better to read "lightning is the only way" before this one

      Not a must read for everyone, i can ensure you that if you didnt like his first novel or even his third, you wont like this one either and its also not a 10/10 and i actually liked this novel quite a bit.

        Well in my opinion this IS a 10/10
        And i get it why not everyone will give it the same rating
        So yeah... i think ur right its not a must read for EVERYONE (my bad bruh)
        But i gave it a 10/10 cause the story was written the way i liked (i don't casually throw 10/10s everywhere😁)

          Well its just me being more critical, i actually gave literaly no piece of media be it game, novel, music or whatever a true 10/10 the best is like 9.9 for something like OoT (game) or Fairy Fountain(music) i personaly would only consider something 10/10 if i dont reasonably see anything be able to surpass it like ever and would change my rating if there ever came across another 10/10.
          The reason for me being negative about it being a must read is that i dont think its productive to overhype things, espically novels like this which can be very controversal and a time waste for alot of people, id say its a must try (atleast to try one of the authors books) but not a must read, imo LITOW is the authors best work by a longshot yet even there is still dont think its a masterpiece or even the best cultvation novel(albert one of the best like probably top 5-3)

              Dunno if you have already it it but the authors third novel will probably be very enjoyable to you if you liked this one and LITOW. (Kill the Sun) Imo a good bit better than this one, albert worse than LITOW.
              Made a rev about it(just finished it), but its not in detail(mostly on purpose tho)

    Just finished the novel, although many people hated the first couple hundred chapters and dropped, I thought It was pretty good.

    If you don't like overly emotional mc you might not like the MC in the earlier chapters but if you don't like an extremely apathetic mc, you might not like the later chapters lmao.

    My favourite part about this was the power system, I love reading about interesting and complex power systems and this novel has that.

    Overall I'll give it a 9/10

    You really couldn't the direction of the story from the title and summary in this case.

    You can really feel MC losing parts of himself throughout the story.

    Typical isekia world and and a mc who wants to become stronger for many reasons. The author takea on a dark setting and every choice the mc takes has consequences and loved how realistic the reaction of mc was towards killing. In his journey to power he gradually becomes cold blooded and a twisted mindset that power is everything yet he doesn't even remember why he chased power. One of the best character developments I have ever seen in my 3 years experience of reading novels. Also there are many times when the mc regrets and becomes emotionally unstable but it changes after ch 551.

    Just finished, its amazing, the mc depth and the shift in the ways he interact with the world upon each dilema is refreshing. you get to know the mc at unexpected moments and in ways we dont normally consider, yeah we read about his feats and some occasional thoughts but the author manage to put quite the complexity as if the mc was truly a sentient being and not a character fulfilling a plot. I would totally put philosophy in genre due to the far amount of moments that he mademe reflect about humanity.

    I finished reading now. What a novel my friends, what a novel... I've never seen MC so determined and who suffered so much. And that ending? Wow, didn't expect that.
