[From the Author of Author's POV...]

Emotions are like a drug to us.

The more we experience them, the more we become addicted.

The hardest part is not letting them consume us.

But it's already too late for me.

I've already been swallowed whole.

***

I had no knowledge of the game.

I was meant to have died.

And yet, I found myself in this situation.

A game I had never played before. A character I was unfamiliar with, and... A world that seemed to want to swallow me whole with every move I made.

What the hell is going on?

...and who am I? Collapse

10 chapters: The story is intriguing but often unclear, which can be good or bad depending on the reader. I found myself skimming a lot because the author uses too many words to explain simple things.

If anyone is going to use the api, I would appreciate it if they gave instructions for Ai to redo a chps in binary code haha

To use the chapter editing function, I think it is necessary to add the key in the chps option, or in your ranobes account settings.

From what I understand, you have to create an account on the openai website, there you will enter the toolbar and start the process to create the api key (it can only be viewed once, so save it).
You will also have to register a phone number, chip, etc., to confirm authentication, if I'm not mistaken, it is paid. I didn't do it because it's not possible for me to use a phone number at the moment haha l(I don't have ;-;)

This is the website to create key https:// platform .openai. com/api-keys(Remove the spaces)

Huh, what is it's purpose? Correcting grammer? Removing Shakespearean? Detecting the use of A.I?

In fact, I believe that this option works well in works with ultra nationalism and works with bad translations, you give the instruction to Gpt (prompt) and it corrects it, the corrected chapter can be made public, This way other users will save the use of their brain to read broken translations. (I just don't know how to work in case of broken chps, because chatGpt doesn't catch or give spoilers about licensed works(But since it's an api, maybe it works?) haha

So, it will rewrite the novel without xenophobia and nationalism? I don't know how to feel about that, on one hand it will corrupt the sanctity of an authors work, and on the other hand it will remove the deal breakers from an otherwise good novel.

Yea, i dont know how i feel about changing the novel like that, But it'd be really useful to fix gender/name errors, occational annoying phrases and other minor changes like that.

True, but a lot of meme potential will similarly die with errors like the names not being proper/changing.

That's only one suggested use, and far from the only possible.

The most obvious use it to correct grammar; to translate terms that weren't properly translated; to fix editing issues, such as sentences being broken into separate lines; or to fix awkwardly phrased sentences to make them more readable, etc. I can actually think of a lot of uses for it. And removing nationalism wouldn't even be on the list of purposes I'd use it for. Mostly because I can't imagine it would be possible to remove nationalism without confusing the context of what's written.

Short of the author literally saying something like "China number one" most instances of nationalism in novels is more subtle. They make China overly virtuous and other nations overly contemptuous based on their actions. Can't usually change that without completely rewriting what's happening in the novel. I think.

The first thing that came up to me was that Chinese to English translations have an issue with the he/she part so you could tell the AI that this character is a he and the other a she.

Issue i find is that everyone needs to run the same prompts over and over and that just is not efficient.

A solution is that for the newest novels ranobes should save the prompt outputs and for the older ones it should store the best one(s). This way everyone can enjoy it while limiting space usage but idk if that is worth it.

It actually makes a huge difference. I've tried it and I used the prompt "Improve grammar and sentence structure of the text, use descriptive language, and then proofread for errors with the quality and readability expected of an official publication." I can't remember but this prompt costs like one cent for one or two pages that were medium in length.

Felt like it’s a lot better than his earlier work. Maybe the writing gets a bit draggy in some part but it’s not pretentious. I dropped his earlier work after 300-400 chapters or sth but I can see myself finishing this one.

Note though: the story takes a while to fully get going (few chapters)
