    Best underrated novel ever! 5/5

    I started reading this feeling that the starting looked similar to usual chinese novels. But after fifty or more chaps, the novel started to show its shine and I am glad I didn't drop early since the novel just seemed to getting better and better as chapters progressed.

    The plot is interesting with lots of political intrigue and the women are not just there for exhibition but have their own identity and plot in the novel. They are not merely there to make the MC look good but has good involvement especially Valentina...ahhhh she is my favourite btw xD

    I saw some people comparing this to ATG but don't be mistaken that its only similar for the starting part but other than that the plot holds no similarity at all. I guess the author was inspired by Mars and decided to write this.

    So I hope you guys just stick till chap 100 and see if this is to your taste or not...otherwise yall gonna regret it know

    Similar plot to ATG (by Mars Gravity), but better because it has R-18 ahaha. If you liked ATG (before Mars went batshit crazy with first wife killing everyone and all), you'll really enjoy this. Quite a satisfying read, in multiple ways. Don't see why the similarity is a bad thing, frankly I think that's a good thing! Really liked the style of ATG (before Mars went nuts) so I like that the author is building something enjoyable taking the good parts.
    Hope the author keeps going and harem keeps growing ahaha.

    Also some people who're shitting saying it's wish-fulfillment or something: that's a good thing. That is what makes it a satisfying read, otherwise there's always Moby Dick one could read.

        It's very generic, wishfulfilment harem xanxia. MC receives best techniques and goodies with no effort. Harem girls only wait for their prince without trying to solve their problems and then they transform into dolls without their own goals other than being yet another Mc woman.
        Prologue signified some interesting storyline. Instead after Mc girl with child got burned at stake in just 4 chapters after prologue Mc Mets already new harem girl as if prologue didn't matter.
        Author consistently breaks rule show, don't tell by repeatedly telling how smart and ruthless Mc is but instead it only serves as vengeance porn against cartoonish puppy kicking villains. Mc enemies are so stupid thst Mc being at lvl of average Joe seems like genius.
        Basically it's worse copy of against the gods. Thst novel while also being generic harem xanxia at least had plot instead of 20 chapters of continuous sex.

          I guess you never read the R18 tag? Virgin bois like you should keep away then. And wdym harem girls are like dolls? Each of them are taking of their own problems in their own way without completely depending on their "prince". You are just one of those early droppers who don't even read a story properly before judging on them as if the read the whole thing.

          Plot? Do you have any idea what the real plot of this story is? Guess you wouldn't know since you hadn't read beyond 50 chaps and just comes and whine here. Besides he fell in love with the first girl after 100 chaps and so wdym when you said the prologue meant nothing? It was due to his past that he took that much time to come to terms with his feelings. Again, you don't know that cause you dropped at chap 20. Well, better you read some sonic type story since that would be suitable for kids. These stories are for men and not for those who can't stand r18 lol.
          P.S The longest R18 streak was 4 chaps btw(20 indeed lolz)...that too after 100 chaps.

            I have read till 70 Chap because I wanted to give the story a chance. But unfortunately it's merely a sadder and worse copy of against the gods.
            Don't give me this bullshit about virginity because novel is literally constant harem without any tension because Mc is constantly getting best techniques and items without any work.
            And despite promising prologue novel is constant ordinary harem romp. Mc constantly meets new girls whose entire life goal start revolving around pleasing Mc. Typical for harem. Bunch of trophy wives one after another "heavenly gifted".
            Novel is typical boring wishfullfilment harem xanxia where plot and poor worldbuilding disappeared somewhere along harem scenes. Even against the gods at least had something going along the story and some tension due to Mc challenges head to conquer.

      its more than just similar to it.......SPOILERS..........a powerful girl's soul inside him and his anti god arts are thus far the same as yun che's(i think thats atg's main character i dont remember i dropped it a over a year ago) as they give him more power at his level than he should have also he has knowledge of medicine and alchemy too

        The girl in the MC's body trope has been seen in many novels including ones with alchemy expertise. If u bothered to read ahead of chap 40, you would find out how different and interesting the plot is ahead.

        And only his first ability is similar to Yun Che's, the rest six of his abilities are totally different as hinted. You should read how awesome *SPOILERS* ....."Shackles of Death is", the ability only gets better and better as chaps pass.

          wdym if i bothered to read ahead of chapter 40. im just saying there are quite a few similarities. why are you so defensive i never said its bad or anything. also that shackles of death is nothing compared to the first one if you think about how these novels usually pit people much stronger than the mc against them, without an ability like that theres no hope for the mc which makes the ability their lifeline which is why i didnt even count shackles of death when i said "thus far"

    This novel is so freaking similar to Mars Gravity's Against the god, even the name meaning are similar. While Against the god have better world building and plot, this novel have better romance and even detail s** scene that Against the god doesn't have.
    So, if you like novel like Against the god, you'll most likely also like this novel.

        True, but author really should make the MC more distinct compare to Yun Chi from AGT, really, I mean both jump of the cliff at the beginning, both have astonishing medical skill, both have OP loli master at the start and many more. So, when I first start the novel, I feel like I just reread AGT with difference character names.

          Yeah only the chaps between 10 to 20 seem similar to ATG, but later on I learned that his character isn't really the same as Yun Che including his motivation. In fact, Damien's character becomes way more fleshed out as chapters pass on and the more we learn about his past.

      Are you dumb? Do you expect the MC to shoot through to godhood within just 200 chaps? It might be slow-paced but its not dragging. Are you here for the story or just to see a guy's cultivation shooting upwards? There are lots of trash novels in top 50 with MC's cultivation increasing every chap and destroying the immersion and the side characters.

      Go read some garbage novel with so-called OP MC if you think this is too slow. I bet you didn't even read till the latest chap and started complaining midway.

      For new readers out there, I can assure that the harem in this novel is No.1 among all other shitty CN novels and even other so-called harem novels. If you read, you will understand what I meant. Just read to enjoy the story instead of tracking his cultivation jeez. And FYI, his cultivation is super fast. Within just three months, he brokethrough three whole realms! Now how's that for fast? *smh*
