For all the trash talk against Webnovel readers on Ranobes, most people commenting the book are actually just insulting rather than criticizing. The very first comment stated "it's SHIT!" without an explanation. Saw another comment saying there was a big buildup for shit, before proceeding to insult the novel; and again without an explanation. another insult with an entire paragraph, he said the book stated he was good at reading people, then proceeded to complain about how the mc is stupid and can't read people. The mc shouldn't be able to read people of another world, since they have different mentalities, even if he is good at it. The rest of what "Death_Lord" said, is practically incomprehensible. Most of the people that made these reviews didn't even read to chapter forty, which is the minimum the author recommended.

All your comment told me, is that you're another idiot who is throwing baseless insults.

Bro ignore it, too much beta male here, I read paragon of sin and discovered that it was good only after almost 530++, barely holding on, imagine it, and here we are many people downvoting, outright rate 1 after can't endure some arc or even chapter 1, I'd say I like how ranobes community exist annnd it was good then, when no many people visited, but now it's a disgrace of novel reader

the f**k can't read human from another world ? Human consist of emotion no matter the world and reading people means reading their day to day emotion so no matter the world for someone good at reading people it does not matter if they are from ours or not and if they have power or not, having powers just amplifies the way people express their emotion and about my review having no facts read mf read then talk about not having facts

        Ever heard of evolution?
Humans adapt and evolve over time, our emotions were a result of our evolution. Humans in different worlds would have different evolution paths, therefore different emotions.

Statistically, the chances of their emotions being the same are infinitesimal, and this is without including external factors such as magic.

A fact, is something not corehently debatable; If I can logically argue against your point, then your point isn't a fact.
You need an education, before trying to argue against someone who actually knows what they are talking about.

well now that it is about education lets talk facts - human grow emotion from there environment in which they grow up in so a human becomes a social animal because that is how we grow and adapt to our surroundings no one can become alone in the literal sense because then they have to be born with every skill there is to exist to survive and when you talk to other people no matter if they are from this world or another world you will come in contact of various emotion -anger pity joy etc these are the basic emotion you can find in any human just that they can be pretty extreme for people of other world where one having magic can do anything.
When a person tries to read another person they read their immediate surroundings, their body language and many other thing your ignorant a$$ wouldn't comprehend and most importantly basic emotion so if a human has basic emotions and if you are good in reading people then from their surrounding their behaviour from when you have come in contact with them their opinion on certain things can say a lot about human .
so yeah thanks for letting me this side of me which can be edgy about things i know and also thanks for teaching me that do not entangle with fools who think they have all the knowledge but are just dancing like fools to the one in know.
          Adios.

Body language changes depending on the region; an example being how Chinese people are likely to think your creepy if you smile at a stranger, while an American would think you to be more sweet or kind. This body language would change drastically in another world.

Emotions do not grow from birth, if that were the case then it would be possible to create a person without emotions via extreme limitations to the social world. Emotions would be comparable to fears; but that's not possible because emotions are hardwired for every human, they already exist from birth, certain emotions simply become more prominent due to external factors, or from life phases. (I.E. a teenager being prone to anger.) Our personalities are what change according to our environment.

This wouldn't be the same in the first place, as a "human" from another world has a different evolution path; therefore being a different existence all together.
It's simple; a human had a certain evolution path, an organism with a different evolution path is not considered the same species.

The scientific name for humans is "homo sapiens" which is determined by our path of evolution; a "human" from another world would have a different evolution path, would as a result be named differently, and would therefore not scientificly be human. Since you referred to "humans" without considering this, most of your argument becomes null. And the "humans" ability to use magic renders as proof of this.

The point I was trying to make with the emotions, was that in another world, the emotions would be entirely different. Hypothetically, anger and happiness may not exist in the first place. Even the best at psychology would find it hard to predict the emotions of another species.

Thanks for the laugh, your response was so funny I just had to respond.

So like human reading emotions of a fish but in this case they are just evolved into a higher being.
Well thanks for the info I didnt know that . If I say whats on my mind then it may becomes a dao discussion .
At the end,our whole discussion was about can the mc read the people or not, for me once you know someones fear you can you can derive their joy, anger and pity from them because because their entire persona may evolve around what once they feared and fear is the only emotion that once one is introduced to can never be severed because severing it at the end is just because you fear they may control or effect your judgement .

Sure, fishmen would work as an example.

I tend to get stuck on loop when I think about subjects like philosophy. Yet, for Dao, I'm sure your opinion of fear has merit.

I would say more than that, but when I think of fear the only things that come to mind involve factual psychology.
(like fear being what keeps us alive)

                  That, is called an opinion.

And I never said the novel was good; just that people weren't writing reviews properly.

This a generic novel, humans there are the same as us, he should be able to "read" them.

My original comment was off topic. Tagged and everything.
I was talking realistically; obviously the author wouldn't consider all that.

It's an opinion, I know, but even so this novel tends more to be bad than good.

That's what I don't see much sense in, I don't know why try to be realistic when the author is obviously going to make "normal" characters.

You're talking about something related to the novel and I saw so many comments without the tag that I didn't notice.

Of all novels I have read this easily makes top 10. One the few good written harem novels in existence. characters are well designed. character development is done well. power scale makes mc feel powerfull while not going overboard.
Warning: if you cant live with mc not being perfect or even see them as bad writing stay the f#ck away from this.
Mc has a lot of traumas and flaws from his past life. and while he developed butefully and better than in almost any other novel, it takes time. Like you know how these things do.
