    I tried and I quit... couldn't get pass 12.
    All those build up of how the world let him down, how naive he was, how he wouldn't trust anyone else...simply wasted.

    I'm surprised how this shit even has over 3 star rating

      I really would like to know. Dont you like character development? Wey do you want a flawless mc? dont you thing reading the same story with the same mc over and over again boring?
      Having a character with flaws wich are then slowly being worked on is the ideal of normal writing. Wey do you see this as a bad thing?

        If what that mc has shown till now is what u call character development then yeah I don't like it.
        And yes having a character with flaws that are being worked on is indeed a nice thing, however, building a story about his past of how tragic it was, making it look like he matured from it and what not...but at the end all we get is a dumb f#ck mc with attitude on top of being a cripple...this is what I see as a bad thing.
        I mean why go through all the trouble of setting up his past just to deliver a shit mc ¯\_༼ •́ ͜ʖ •̀ ༽_/¯

              I don’t know, would you trust a review for a book if they only read 10% of it? On the other handing not gripping the reader into the story for more is the sign of poorly written beginnings. Honestly I think a lot of web-novel authors would benefit from rewriting their intros.

                Yeah, I read a novel where the author wrote the ending first. The beginning was okay but not great. After like 900 chapters of progressively better and more awesome storytelling I was really enjoying it. Then the novel instantly goes to hell in a handbasket. NEVER AGAIN.

                If the first 10 chapters are garbage then don't prattle about the next 1000 because I don't give a shit.

    Couldn't get past 10 chapters even after re-reading 3-4 times,

      You should continue...it gets very better and pace picks up from 25-30s chs, for me it is one of the best cultivation+harem/romance novel which is done rightly.
      Even though there are some extra long arcs...it is a nice read.

        well read past the initial chap got a good read the above outburst was becoz i had just finished three masterpiece lotm, supreme magus and Reverend insanity so yeah the initial chap gave like a lot os frustrating moments for me and gave up reading a few times but got used the pace and enjoyed the ride

      It is almost as if he is an actual character and not robotlike default isekai protagonist#35434.

      I get you mean, but I still look at reviews. You just have to take things that are said with a grain of salt and you can also avoid tasting much poison this way. It’s like wanting to know about something, but the only resource you can find in Wikipedia. Plus I find that many times the tags are incorrect and if I just took a look at the reviews for a minute, I would have save hours or days of reading and moved on quickly.
