This is a supremely interesting and fun novel to read. Perhaps the longest I've finished, and it's not for a lack of trying, but finding something that keeps your attention and interest for this many chapters is rare. Lin Ming is a great protagonist, who may have a sort of plot armor, but in-universe it's pretty much explained, and this doesn't mean he doesn't have setbacks and defeats. Many times things seem unexplained or don't make sense, but each mystery gets unraveled as Lin Ming's cultivation increases, and attentive readers can clue themselves in if they read between the lines. From a common family in a lower realm we readers truly see every step of the way for Lin Ming, and many times he returns home and we readers can see the end of each character, leaving atleast myself satisfied. In terms of romance I have no faults, he was neither a playboy or a eunuch, and his wives are good characters themselves. I don't know what's next after the ending but perhaps I'll read that, or find something similar to this, but there really aren't enough good finished novels!

Mh this looks really interesting. Can you answer a question of mine though?
It has the reverse r*** tag so is this one of these situation where mc gets r-ed and then told he "has to take responsibility" and then accepts it? Because if yes I am not gonna be able to read this.

thanks! I honestly don't really care what happen to him as long as long mc isn't one of those that only thinks with his dick and forgives and then marries/adds to his harem someone who intentionally r-ed him.

Same this my first cultivation novel it's one of the best i read but i'm not satisfied of the ending. I thought that author will make martial world 2 but im quite disaapointed when he just insert it in the true martial world except the ending this is a must read.

Great love for the novel. Exept for the ending [spoiler] i expected the last boss fight to be the culmination of all the abilities he learned so far, f.e.his thunderfire.and also i really wanted to see his spear be his life weapon.. Instead as a final we get a mc that holes up in a cave for years than blasts the villain with a god rank weapon. The thing i love most about this novel though is that contrary to most novels of the genre, other than the cube, he almost never hides his abilities wich is a big plus for me.

The most cliché but at the same time the best Xuanhuan novel ever, it has every cliché ever but it does it so well that it's a pro rather than a con.

Nothing is cliché at the very beginning. This novel is old. At that time only some of its elements were cliché, rest all were new.

Good MC! Good writing! Good novel!

Martial world is extremely satisfying to read, with great world building, characters interaction and a main character who isn't an over-the-top, face-slapping, arrogant, horny, young master. Though Lin Ming seems to have a luck stat of 9999, picking up treasures and good fortune left and right, he stays down to earth and humble. In this world full of your average arrogant martial art master bullies, he doesn't let them slap his face without proper consequences. Though most of his personal fights could've been resolved if the offender had more than a shred of intelligence and just once asked themselves "Do I really want to offend this heaven-sent prodigy who has clearly shown strength far exceeding his level?" , it is still a blissfull feeling when Lin Ming verbally rebukes them after beating them up.

My favorite cultivation novel so far, up there with Cultivation Online and Martial Arts Master.
