One of the first novels about cultivation that I read

It's like a xianxia starter book, like the big 3 anime one watches when they are new into anime. These books are real gold and the start of my webnovel journey. It's not the best i have read, but neither was the hypocritic story of Naruto... But it would still be forever fav for me occupying a place in my heart. At the end the fact is that its a precious memory now, a novel i enjoyed and cherish regardless of its plot holes or any 'fault' in it. Martial world, desolate era etc.❤️

Im thankful to these Bois to introduce me to the amazing world of xianxia and webnovel. I learnt things and became mature with these novels. I went through character development with the protagonist. I learnt a about the cruel world, the philosophy of the dao and started to see the world in a different way. Ranobes and all the authors have played a major part on what i am Today.

Someday i would like to write my own webnovel and have it published in this VERY site i have spent 1000+ hrs on. I mean i ain't even kidding, I used to read for 48+ hrs on this site a week. Phone statistics tell this lol. I really thank #panic# i dunno why i got emo lol. Thank you man do much for creating this awesome site, and thanks to all those authors who expressed their philosophies and worldviews through the story they made, the events they wrote, the characters they built. Arigatou ❤️❤️

Bland ending!

a perfect example on how bad translations could destroy a good novel,

Wuxia has better translation than this.

This supposed to be a good novel but was destroyed because of the translation.

Finished this like 2 years ago and I remember that I really enjoyed it.
especially the mc 9/10

The insults are only the first couple of chapters. It doesn't persist.

It's not important enough to be a spoiler, but I remember dropping this book in Ch. 2 because in the the inn lady is like bought off by 'bad guys' and the main character who discovers that the landlady picked the 'rich young masters side' decides to like punch the building before he leaves. In my opinion though, while the landlady was on the wrong side I don't really think that it is necessary to be such an ass though? While he doesn't need to be a coward I think it's annoying and upsetting if he is so domineering in such a way. Here me out, an inn lady accepts a bribe from someone to kick you out, that is upsetting, furthermore you have broken the mans face who came to take you room (harsh but cultivation world so whatever), but what's with the macho 'uuugh i punch wall to intimidate the mortal inn lady' and BESIDES the land lady tries to return his remaining rent and that is what triggers him because he determines ENTIRELY off the fact that the inn keeper decided to pay him back that she obviously is 'calculating'(?!???!?). I don't understand. It feels like him being unnecessarily dickish and everyone is evil cause I'm protagonist.

idk does it get better? obviously people like this book, but if the character is unsympathetic to anyone who barely slights him and inconsiderate I would be too peeved and annoyed to continue. Is it like this or was I upset for no reason last time I read this?
