      It's not! I completely understand that thought process cause it was the same as mine. It looked like the typical harem novel so I didn't even bother putting it in my bookmarks. I started it on a whim and this has been one of the best novels I've ever read. I laughed and cried along with the characters. You definitely won't regret reading it

    Character development: 1000000/10
    - honestly one of the best novels that has great character developments. I really can't describe it well in words but I guess you'll feel sympathetic of them since it's just so realistic
    Story progression: 8=10/10
    - it is slow but it has to be that way since it's a slice of life. Not all about fighting and beating up some random dude. You may feel bored at the start but you'll slowly get used to it
    Story: 10/10
    - It's a slice of life. You may think its bland and boring but no(actually yes in the early chapters). I don't really have anything more to write since the novel is mostly about the characters but the incredible plot twists and the story itself is fantastic though
    Minor characters: 7/10
    - They are well written however I think the author could've given them more screentime and depth since most of the minor characters that appeared has disappeared in the latter half of the story
    Romance: 8/10
    - Don't worry it's not harem. The romance are slowly built up and it comes up with the novel's biggest plot twist. The romance here is one of a kind that I, who loves romance more than anyone else is my 1st time seeing such a thing lol(I'm still 15 btw). Well anyway, the romance won't ruin the story or anything so no probs
    Writing Quality: 9/10
    - its fluid and smooth. There are a lot of dialogues but that's the main point I really love about this novel. Around half of the entire series are characters talking
    Main character: 9/10
    - He is a human who regressed several times so expect him to be dead emotionally. Yu Jitae slowly regains his emotions as he spends his daily life together with the dragons. What I mean is, he doesn't just suddenly gets emotional or anything but it's just that he returned to being a human again
    Battle scenes: 8/10
    - this novel isn't really about fighting so it was kept simple. The author slowly improves on writing battle scenes and I'd say it's better than most novels I've ever read
    Character interactions: 100000000000/10
    - they are so entertaining and doesn't feel off. It's so realistic you'll feel like they are real people

    Overall one of the best novels I've ever read, deserves to be on the top rankings. It's a daily life about the regressor mc and the dragons who cause him to suffer so much. Honestly, It's really hard to get into it at the start but if you persevere then take my word that you'll love the story, especially the characters

      But the ending was a major letdown. The ending should have involved the baby dragons helping him overcome some kind of obstacle. The novel Was a 10/10 but due to the ending it became a 6/10. If the ending is not good the readers feel like the time they invested in the novel was not worth it just like a girlfriend who cheated on you.

        I don't think you understood anything about the novel, or just skimmed it. It's supposed to be the dragons enduring hardships in order to find their happy ending and help the MC (especially Bom) as opposed to him helping them all the story

    Reasons: Ok so 300+ chaps in it mentions that he was chosen by the vintage clock because he was the human with the strongest will.
    So let us consider that 100 years is enough to either perfect a Individuals will or break it. Then are you telling me that even with 1500+ years the Mc is like some dumbass cultivator whose been sitting in a cave all that time???
    He has very little control over his own emotions to a point that I feel embarrassed to read some parts. He also easily gets upset and angry over insignificant matters..... Like it's as if the author tried to mix a ice faced/rational Mc with a hot-headed Mc from a jap/chinese novel and failed miserably.

    there is wayy too much dialogue in this novel, to the point where it conflicts with the way that the author wishes to portray the characters.

    its as if the authors writing a soap opera..

    for example, 3 chapters in:



    he speaks over 12 times and entertains her questions just to convey the simple message of "come with me or die". its obvious that the author is just trying to make this first encounter meaningful and emotionally appealing to the reader in order to make them stay and read more
    . the dialogue here is all fluff, and the situation isnt realistic at all. a real person would just run away from him (despite knowing they cant get away. believe it or not, this is how people work. they dont just give up like "oh no, you got me. great catch!"). and the fact that he speaks that many times despite not liking it and not being used to it just furthers the fact.

    the author wrote a drama. nothing more, nothing less. if you like this kind of thing, good for you. if not, youre better off leaving. just be prepared for a shit ton of emotionally unstable (or batshit crazy emo) characters and a plot thats centered around relationships.

    oh yea, and since its centered around drama, anything emotionally fulfilling would just end the plot so the author will prevent that kind of no-no behavior in order to milk it more. expect things to go really, really, really, really, really slow.
