As expected. The author left to cultivate and forgot what his novel was about

I'm already on the 1000th chapter and above, and I have to say the author lost the plot. He's barely in the store now; it feels like the main thing that got me to this story, the pet store system vibe, is gone.

Mc wastes his time on unnecessary things and novel is filled with a lot of nonsense mc wants to ands so angry over who didn't do much scam and mistreat that was boy didn't have a choice and that would make him stronger besides is mc even qualified to talk about mistreating pets.

Is this better than 'Unable to Cultivate, I Can Only Raise Soul Pets', and does it eventually become harem?

English isn't my first language so yeah

this is my first ever review aka shit. even though i'm calling this a review its basically me saying what i found annoying about the novel and some of the reasons i drooped it

i did enjoy this novel quite a bit but it just become repetitive while i did drop it you might like it if you haven't read it

if you have i would also like to know your opinion

when i caught up to the novel it was somewhere around 780-800sh and stopped at 1085 i think. so i don't remember a lot of details so sorry if i remember wrong somewhere

review:

it's called astral pet store but he barely uses the pets for fighting. heck the only times he uses the pets is to merge with them (same for a lot of other characters) or so they can kill a weaker enemy. and the only thing the store is used for is so he can go to a cultivation site and cultivate there him self not the pets.

he hasn't even upgraded the store in like hundreds of ch. whens the last time he sold a pet or pet food. he just goes of somewhere leaves the others to do his job. he also doesn't know how to train pet's he just trows them into a cultivation site or gets his copies/clones to do or just gives them a law it and calls it a day.

the system never teaches him anything even tough it says something on the lines of ''the system will make you the best pet trainer there is'' well it's not hard when you can just throw them into a cultivation site and revive them over and over again and not to anything else.

mc also lacks common sense. a lot of times when someone says something to the mc he doesn't understand it. some times it's about cultivation some times it's just common sense everyone should have in real life and it should be obvious what they are talking about if he just thinks abut it for a sec or he just says something dumb in response. (i don't really remember any examples i just vaguely remember this)

i also hate how he acts/thinks for example when he want to the pet master trainer thing in the mid 400 chapter's and got that disciple/student like why did he do that he hasn't taught her any thing he just gave her some books and just let her study on her own what was the point we don't even see her that much.

and every person that's in the store is a girl for whatever reason. we don't see any other guy characters that isn't an enemy (he doesn't even have a guy friend) and most of the side characters we see that isn't an enemy are girls that act the same. and a lot of characters are forgotten like what happened to the girl the mc putt in the scroll and later fused with the fire tree after the mc put the fire tree there and she BURNED TO DEATH.

there's also the ascended expert his master sent with him to protect him when he left the divine court did she escape or something. and then there's also the sea emperor from when the demon beast attacked the blue planet did he sell her or did he leave her sealed in the store (if he sold her i forgot sorry)

mc also get into a lot of unnecessary conflict like when someone from one of the academy's tried to capture the skeleton he could have let them go but he was stubborn and killed them (the academy didn't go after him but the guy's family did). same in ch 1049 someone said to him “Humph. Where is this bumpkin from?” and he attacked them because of that. he's becoming a young master. he would have killed him if he guards didn't stop him

there are situations where he can and should talk instead of fight like always like when he barged into the tower on blue planet.

there are a lot of arrogant young masters but if he just showed them how strong he is a lot of people would leave him alone but he just doesn't bother he always says i don't care what other people think of me. that good and all but most of the time you're a lower realm and you're acting arrogant. they think you're weak and then they challenge/attack you because you thought it's beneath you to show you'r power

but a lot of the conflict is because a young masters is being dumb like always

I stayed where he joined the skeleton and defeated the monster, but his dragon only had one soul left and to save it he needs something that an organization has (not his system that sends him to very advanced worlds and what he is looking for may be garbage in one of those worlds) and joining the organization can achieve it. My question is if he joined the organization because of that and if he used the divine essence on other monsters as well.

Are all the cultivation sites from the past?

Su Yanying is the biggest regret, of all the supporting minor characters that shouldve ...... why was she the author used? Tsk
