Yes at the beginning of this story it has a lots of unreasonable plot bullshit plot armor forced plot useless pointless face slapping chapters that i skipped but i still kept reading. Yes it is cringe in a lot of times. Yes a lot of times the MC was retarded and stupid. Yes there's a lot of cliche.

But when you finish the whole 1580 chapters. Then suddenly close your Eyes and try to remember all the emotions the sadness, happiness, excitement, the adventure itself the ride the feeling that you didn't expect to be here yet you're still here. The memories of all the things you've gone together with MC Su Ping.

You will feel it was WORTH IT. Even thought it has a lot of flaws and mistakes. This adventure is an irreplacable one that will forever stay in your heart

One of the few good things about the novel

You say that I knowingly ignore the issues of this novel but it seems you are ignoring the context when stuff happened. It has already been quite a bit since this finished and even more since I started reading this novel , so I won't be able to specifically mention chapters about your points but if you give me the number of the specific chapter then I will be able to re-read them and answer you.

- At the start he does let his pets attack on their own. The problem with your thinking is that the pet system was never about the pets attacking on their own. It was always about merging the power of many to a single individual. If you take a step back and think about armies of cultivators or supernatural beings , you will notice they can't actually fight like we Earthlings traditionally do. They will pretty much always have some type of formation (as in an item) or a military formation that allows the strength of all the soldiers to be combined. Especially in a novel like this where beings of a higher rank can easily supress those of a lower rank. Another problem is that each time a cultivator grows stronger he can contract even more beasts. Replacing beasts is something frowned upon. Their connection is too deep for such practices. This means that finding the best possible beast in each rank impossible to do. It is mentioned quite a few times where even high rank cultivators only have a couple beasts at their rank. The rest are kept like house pets since their potential can't keep up. Besides the pet system isn't mutual to humans and not only beasts can become pets. If someone wanted he could make even another human a pet.

- He doesn't upgrade the store not because he is lazy but because two of the conditions are actually quite harsh. First the points needed get increasingly more and more time consuming to gather. At some point he needs to accumulate years upon years of points despite having access to higher level of pets (which would give more points). He is limited in this case by the maximum amount of pets he can store in his pet storage in each wave of accepting clients. The second requirement is to have one of his pets be of a certain quality in a certain rank. This is quite hard to achieve. Especially when you consider that he is trying to do his damn best to raise their potential. They are his family. He doesn't want them to be left behind or for their only use to be to sacrifice to save him. To say he doesn't upgrade the store because he is being lazy or on purpose avoiding to do so is just spouting bullshit.

- He actually sells both pets and pet food. The reason why doesn't do so in the start is two fold. First for the pet food. Its actually quite expensive compared to traditional pet food (the store sets the price). Although it is expensive its effects are quite miraculous. Since he wasn't able to build up a reputation high enough to uncoditionally trust him , his sales on that front aren't that big. Still he does make pet food sales. It's just that they aren't shown as much because there isn't much reason to do so. Now about the pets situation. In order to sell pets he needs to capture them. At the start to do so he relied on an item that is sold in limited quantities by the store. Selling below legendary pets would be a waste but at the time he can sell legendary pets he does so constantly. There simply weren't people that could buy said pets. Ofcourse another reason was that he was too weak at that point.

-His job is to increase the combat power of the pets. Depending on the type of cultivation the pet owner picks , he has to meet certain criteria to be considered doing his job by the store. Being a clerk isn't his job. This why later down the line he gets someone else to do that job. The clerk also has to be powerful enough in order to keep the pets obedient. So this argument of yours has no actual basis.

- This is mostly the fault of the author if you really want to point fingers to someone. The truth is that his strategy was enough. If you pair the fact that he can easily find natural treasures , there isn't much reason for him to learn those skills. They would actually slow him down. His method of training boils down to the "raising gu" technique". The only difference is that the pets he trains don't permanetly die. Arguably pets trained like this are much more powerful than some pets that had a pet trainer massaged in order to refine their energy. He would have never be able to deliver the same results if he used the same techniques "normal" trainers utilized. I don't think he ever imparted laws to pets other than his own. Normally learning a law is hard , much less learning multiple laws. To impart laws to a pet , much less a foreign one , was seen as idiotic. If someone managed to acquire those laws , would mean your hard work going to waste. So in the end he only passed laws done to his own pets. The reason he did so was mostly due to the miniature worlds and increasing thei combat power. As I said before he wasn't willing to leave behind his pets. Clones were only used for the simple cultivation type. That cultivation type wasn't that special hence didn't need his personal attendance.

- I am not going to say much about this but the aim of the system was never to make him a traditional trainer much less the best traditional trainer. The purpose of the system was two fold. One was to increase the combat power of everyone. Two to cultivate his character. At the end of my comment I will leave a small spoiler which would explain a lot of things.

-I haven't noticed this happening at all. At least the way you are describing it. The only time the MC was clueless about cultivation was because he genuinely didn't have access up to that point about said subject. I would go as far to say that the MC learnt the true face of that world quite fast and acted accordingly. (No letting your enemy go back to grow stronger and return to threaten you).

- It isn't as much him acting as a dickhead but knowing the true face of others. If he doesn't press them down , they are only going to act out of their way more and more. The phrase "give them an inch and they will demand a mile" perfectly suits them. He acts overbearingly because he knows that if you don't set boundaries , they will only take you for a soft permisson and just continue doing dumb things. The whole scenario where you back away and the other responds with understanding happends only in fantasies and an extremely small amount of cases. Only the dumb ones continue to pester the MC. Later down the line people actually have a brain and don't antagonize the MC for no reason. Individuals who antagonize the MC belong to two categories. Those from protected environments thinking everyone should bow down to them and those that sooner or later would die due to their behavior regardless of the MC. I simple example is the families from the hometown of the MC latern submitting to him.

-This a complete lie. Like there are only three girls in the store with one being a freaking pill. Other than that there are both males and females in the sidecharacters. His master is a male. A lot of the supremes are males. Just because the story has an actual normal male to female ratio doesn't mean the author is focusing too much on females.

- He took her as a disciple in order to further his influence in that holy city. The problem was that he progressed way faster than she did. Hence she became useless. I actually think this is more organic than having every single plot point being measured to the dot. Though I don't remember if the author properly close her plot line. I don't think he has actually ever closed someon in his store for multiple days as you mention. He basically has it open every day. A customer comes in and the next day can take away his pet. In contrast other pet stores would need weeks or months to achieve a similar improvement to the pet if they could match it all. The only times he closed his shop was when he upgraded it. Other than that it was working constantly. The only difference would probably be not having professional cultivation available. This is the reason why he needed clerks. So you are spouting bullshit again.

-He killed him in order to set his stance. If he didn't do so , they would just return either way to demand remuneration. Might as well remove him from the middle. On your second example are you ignoring the dialogue between the MC and the guard. The guard was actually the first to propose killing that youngster. The only reason he didn't do so was because he might have an important background and made things complicated. The MC acknowledged that might be the situation and just requested what that youngster demanded from him tenfold. Imagine this , you are inside your home and someone comes there and starts being rude in front a lot of people. Aren't you going to be heavy handed with him ? People have killed for similar things irl quite a few times. Much less considering the situation of the MC. Not only the MC is stronger than that dumbass but his master is a Supreme and the Lord of the Region. If the MC had wanted could have easily killed that dude with his first punch but didn't. You are being obnoxious and ignoring context once again.

- The only time he doesn't show his power was when he was still in his hometown and wasn't a legend yet. He actually didn't have much to show off at that point. After he became to lord of Blue Star he has never held back. This is also the reason he was able to become a Supreme's disciple. So you are ignoring context again.

The novel doesn't really have those flaws you mention or plot holes (which is rare) , it's just that you are ignoring context.
