Hamel, a warrior who traveled with his colleagues to exterminate the devil. Yet, he died just before the battle with the devil started.

“Yes.”

What the hell?

He was reborn as the descendant of his fellow warrior, Vermouth.

The descendant from the bloodline of the great Vermouth, Hamel. No, he was now Eugene Lionhart.

“It was already enough me having the delusion that I was a genius in my past life. But… this… It’s… It’s incomparable.’

From a dying body to a new body, he has the achievement that he did not have in his previous life.

And, a reincarnation of an unknown origin, the reality of living together with the demons.

Facing a new world where everything is questionable.

The journey of the unfinished previous life begins with Eugene’s body. Collapse

bad way imo... He is more childish then dense. Story starts out with 13yr old mc and even though he is a reincarnator aside from being eloquent he behave like a ignorant 8yr old. I dont like this kind of setting so im out after 10 chapters.

He does only one time he had to make a decision to he clashes with those two siblings he could've died for that and then there wasn't any real important decisions for him to make yet I don't expect much from mc to be honest he seems pretty narrow minded and biased until now yes I agree demons like those succubus deserve to die for sucking life force and still have the face to ask for money but we'll doesn't kill them but I don't he should've gotten involved with Edward it's none of his business what he does first of all he calls him his brother and same for other two but he doesn't call the patriach his father or his brother uncle whom 2 are actually the ones who helped wtf instead just treats them distantly while treating these people who don't care about him closely or why he is behaving like he knows everything yes I get he was there but he isn't that guy he doesn't even know what that guy and the families ancestor was thinking he is being pretentious I mean we can't expect much from a guy who committed suicide for no apparent reason at all he should've just reported that to his family and let them take care of it

first of all you must know that I only read part of the novel before, more precisely the continuity of the manhua because I didn't want to wait.
but from what I could understand, he does not consider him a brother. He sure calls him 'brother' but that's just because he's adopted, and calls the patriarch that because he already has a father and that's a mark of respect.
He blame Edward (that's the name I think) because he hates demons, it's true but not only. It's also because Edward is the descendant of his friend and rival. Could you remain unmoved by watching the son of your friend with whom you have gone through so much taking drugs and hanging out with disreputable people? I personally couldn't. In addition, little Edward was going to make a contract with a demon (low-ranking moreover) which would have been a very bad decision and could have put his family in danger. And it seems to me that he hates demons because they destroy his village and succubus because they got into his mind and made him believe impossible things (I'm not sure, correct me if I'm wrong).
I almost forgot, he didn't kill himself. He sacrificed himself to protect his friend (even though apparently he could have done just fine on his own, lmao), and if you didn't think about it, it was the most logical decision to make. Being too weak himself to take down the Demon King, he simply couldn't let the only one who had a chance die in vain. Besides, he was his friend.
PS: it's Google translation, I speak French.
            Bref, c'était mon explication

But arguing with a kid for 3 chapter is a sign of bad novel which goes to show that author is just filling up words in chapters which got nothing to do with the story.

this work is very good, it runs away from all stereotypes and cliches, I highly recommend it.

When you think that something cliche is going to happen that always happens you are surprised, when you think that a character will be like any other of the type you realize that you are wrong.

And the MC is not a fool and useless like other MCs out there.

Suprisingly good stuff. Author went in opposite direction and instead of making nobody peasant despised by everybody rise to power MC is regarded as genius since the beginning which is quite refreshing and MC has reasons for being powerful. He also isn't a typical Japanese MC beta coward with savior syndrome albeit he is quite ornery in fun way though.

Beginning made me worried when young masters showed and there was a bit of face slapping making me think that the author uses typical tropes for fake popularity but it quickly becomes good and characters show multi faceted side.

I would recommend story for those who are interested in subversion of typical rescue the world from demon king genre. It can be categorized partially as mystery.

How ironically that we are surprised with real "main character" of story but not fary tale nobody whose genius gifted by plot.

Bwahaha! There is some irony in this that we are surprised by a genius character that doesn't need to prove himself for everybody for the sake of fake popularity.

Dude chill out. I'm pretty sure that just from reading my comments, anyone would realise that I haven't read it yet. So there's no point of it being good or bad. I'm just saying the description is similar to japenese novels.

Guess I'll just bookmark this one. Though it's gotta be something else or it'll just lay there since I'm getting quite bored with demon King type stories. I'm currently reading hell's handbook.

It's a mystery. MC who is part of hero team from the past reincarnates as a scion family created by his rival (for his own consternation) and sees that something went wrong with hero journey after he had died because hero team instead of killing demon kings written a peace pact with them nobody knows about why and how despite all atrocities, bad blood.
