Hamel, a warrior who traveled with his colleagues to exterminate the devil. Yet, he died just before the battle with the devil started.

“Yes.”

What the hell?

He was reborn as the descendant of his fellow warrior, Vermouth.

The descendant from the bloodline of the great Vermouth, Hamel. No, he was now Eugene Lionhart.

“It was already enough me having the delusion that I was a genius in my past life. But… this… It’s… It’s incomparable.’

From a dying body to a new body, he has the achievement that he did not have in his previous life.

And, a reincarnation of an unknown origin, the reality of living together with the demons.

Facing a new world where everything is questionable.

The journey of the unfinished previous life begins with Eugene’s body. Collapse

When I read about the moonlight sword, I couldn't help but think of the dark souls moonlight sword (although the weapon itself is a recurring thing in most FromSoftware games)

    Well, I'm dropping it.
Terrible combination of slow story development with no active/highlights moments and super slow translation.
Omg, split each chapter into 2-3 parts and release one piece a day... If the translator would release a whole chapter every 2-3 days, it would be perceived better. Double facepalm.

I cannot agree with you on one point, even thought TL break chapters each chapter still have 5000+ words. Most new webnovel have only 1000-1200 words and OGs also only have around 2000-3000 so this translater is doing alot.

Just see how greedy other TLs are, unscientific beast tamer guy have started breaking them into 7-12 parts with 800-1000 words each including punctuations.

2022.07.04 : caught up to all the chapters released, novel is quite decent but still has that something that i find very annoying to deal with. for example,

-dialog between characters feel very off-putting? like dull? things could be explained with less filler or over explanations?
-the mc is very dull and a bit boring but passable.
-for those that like or dont like harem novels, so far nothing that points to it.

either way despite everything so far this novel has great potential if author reigns in such style of writing.

I don't know if this novel is good but I want to have a try first.... it's just that the HAREM tag seems so errrrrrr like uhhhh Idk It's turning me off. I checked the manhwa and I loved the art style so i decided to try and read the novel to see if it's also on par, so far no signs of harem in manhwa but the fact that he, the MC, assumed that the patriarch of Lionheart fam wants to engage him to Ciel somehow raised my flags. Now that I even saw the tag, I'm kinda hesitant to read... CAN ANYONE PLS TELL ME IF THIS IS NOT SOME BRAINDEAD HAREM?? pressure

    Good novel~!
But the translator is still a lazy ass. Split each chapter into 2-3 parts and release one piece per day - too slow...

Note: f#cking hell I accidentally reloaded the page and lost the 3 paras of this, had to write it from memory

    Quit reading as much.

I stumbled across #galacticrize#’s post a while ago, forgot about it and remembered it randomly ~3 weeks ago(?), and decided to stick to it.

    That’s helped so much.

The trick to it is to try and fill your schedule with other things, to the point that when you finish, you have little time left.

It feels so satisfying to actually get things done instead of constantly reading!

You can see the total amounts of comments I’ve posted, and know that I was probably a crippling reading addict. Well, that’s changed for the better!

        A few tips:
-Whenever you feel the urge to read, grab an elastic band and fling it towards your skin. Over time, it’ll make your brain associate reading with pain and make you want to read less(idea from galacticrize)
-Try new things, to the point where you won’t have time to read.

Although it doesn’t seem like much, it’ll help, trust me.

Another tip that worked for me, although I’m unsure if it’ll help for others, is to write a novel(you don’t have to publish it, just write it on paper, a notepad app or something else). It made me feel so exhausted after writing a few chapters that I actually didn’t want to read!
