In the midst of the blue and purple neon lights, under the gray, metallic sky, it is the frontier of all data, the aftermath of a scientific revolution, also the border of fiction and reality.

Steel versus body; the past and the future.

Here, the Outer World and the Inner World exist alongside each other. It seems like the wall of time is right in front of your eyes.

Darkness gradually swallows the world.

But listen, my friend, we cannot use kindness to survive the darkness. We need fire. Collapse

MC name is Qing Cheng (pronounced Ching Cheng) which is like the most streotypical chinese which somehow feels insulting

It's a pretty good novel, it's basically like 48 Hours, but instead of him going into different simulations he gets transmigrated to the future with a bunch of people at random intervals, it's really cool. The MC is a great factor on why this novel is so good, and it dosen't have Chinese propaganda so that's a plus. I've only seen one reference to the First Order, no connection other than that as of yet.

Is 48 hours good? give me a summary

It's decent. I really liked it except near the end where it started stretching out the missions. The overall plot of the story in the real world is actually pretty interesting as MC is not given the power randomly (shocked pikachu) and there is an actual plot.

48 hours premise is basically a 'random' dude gets a watch that gives him an extra 24 hours every day that he can to whatever he wants, it's pretty boring in the first chapters but that's mainly because the author is giving everyone a backstory and worldbuilding, it gets really good when the MC starts going into simulations which basically put him into different situations, like he was a race car driver once and pirate the next one( the pirate arc made a lot of people drop the novel because it's long as hell, but i didn't really mind it), there's a twist regarding the simulation and the watch but that's a big spoiler so it's better if you read it yourself.

Read till chapter 79 , Great Novel with refreshing background and world building. Basic Synopsis is because of a mystery some people from certain region is crossing over back and from 2 different world or timeline (not sure yet). Mc don't have any op trait except photographic memory and far as I saw don't need idea about first order. I will give 4.8/5 .

So I read till chapter 79.
My rating so far is 4.5/5

The main character is 2nd year highschooler who has photographic memory. He comes from a broken family so he isn't really close to anyone in the family. The plot is about people transmigrating to another world stay there for a specific time period and comes back.

The MC ain't the show off or the arrogant or the I shall never bow down to anyone kind of the MC. He is clever and realistic who knows where his limits are at.

There is character development with the side characters as you see them develop also the author knows how to add comedy to the story.

I can't wait for future updates.

Till latest chapter (79) it's well developed. It's still early to say something, when it seems, that the novel has more than 800 chapters.

Yes, both novels are related. However, I would suggest you read this one, because the main character is more serious than the First Order's MC.

    the power ranking system of the inner world goes S, A, B, C, D, E, F
The path Mc probably takes has 8 life and death stages where after completing 6 one will be considered level A level S after 7 and a mystery after 8
