This is an incredibly well written novel in my opinion. I'm all caught up to the original source. Not the chapters here are split up versions of the original chapters, which makes the numbers not match up

This is an amazing story that has a unique emphasis on formation mastery and emphasis on MC not following the traditional pattern of using blood or physical cultivation or magic spells and qi but spiritual consciousness, something that is very well developed and in a way also appears to be almost like Bloodbourne's concept of insight when fully developed.

The ways of the world are mysterious and cultivation is but one dimension of a person's ability.

Mo Hua is a cute righteous but black bellied character who is ruthless but caring, and really emphasizes the pattern of low key and scheming but acts like a good little boy.

So many interesting arcs and there is still lots of fighting but usually unless its a major arc, he is more supporting others or using his auxiliary abilities to aid them.

However, the plot is very well written with no holes yet as far as I've seen and there is a strong element of karma in how conflicts develop. Great lore and world building paints a rich pictue of how capitalist means lead to complete exploitation of the lower class cultivators by the rich but Mo Hua is the bridge head to a breakthrough.

Technology is the primary productive force, in essence then formations are the equivalent to electronic circuits used to create products and let society function.

I will say this story always has surprises and doesn't go the way you'd think with realistic portrayal of the MC's abilities and no deus ex machina luck, everything is logical. And to be honest, seeing him grow is so adorably cute and hilarious especially when he beats foes who are much stronger through the fact he is literally a violation of the laws of cultivation with his abilities.

10/10 recommend, I eagerly wait every chapter. So many awesome epic moments in every major arc conclusion, you can't miss this one!

Read this on scribble hub instead if your starting this, the translation is way better and makes for a much funner experience, it has bout half the chapters though, so if your in further then round 600, stay here.

One weird thing I have noticed about this novel is how hard it is to die. In other xianxias, someone blinks and their head is separated from their body, here, someone has to get beaten to death for 8 hours (no joke, the fights are that long) and then he pretends to be defeated, fights some more, and gets captured when his spiritual energy is exhausted.

Is there any romance in this novel?

I like the novel but it is completely MTL after chapter 300ish and the translation quality just gets worse I'm at around 700 and the translation is still shit.

After 800 its Solid 9.5/10

This is my review after I read till chapter 842 in mtl (currently 1015 chaps). The chapters here are divided into 3. So, chapter 703 corresponds to roughly chapter 550 in mtl. My biggest problem with this novel is that It is too slow paced. I usually like this but at the rate the novel is going it's at least gonna be 3500+ chaps long(If author doesn't introduce any major time skip or something else).

MAJOR SPOILERS:
There have been 6 realms of cultivation introduced so far and probably there being 9 in total because there are 9 ranks of formation masters. The mc at MTL chapter 917 is at

Cons:
1: Extremely slow paced and trying to defeat the pace of martial unity.
2: Almost no meaningful time skips.
3: Absurd cultivation technique

Good points:
1: Absurd cultivation technique.
2: Extremely likeable characters.
3: Actual character development.
4: Solid story with insane things happening quite often.
5: Cunning and smart (though EXTREMELY greedy) and kind mc.
6: Author is skilled and has likely planned this out.
7: Author posts chapters almost every day.

Overall 7.5/10. Though I do recommend that this should be kept in the bookmarks list for at least 1 or 2 years cause it's gonna be extremely long if nothing changes. 3500+ chapters minimum or 5000+ max or more.
