For 1700 chapters, the author marinated the readers before letting them experience a real orgasm from how the main character slaps all the young masters and heavenly proud ones

    Drop it around 1000 chapter.

Its slow pace novel, and mc being specialized in Array doesn't make it better because of the made up logic the keep getting added later on.

Too much filler and drag, and translation become worse than mtl after 300ish chapter.

Mc social ability is really good so the author make good of it to made as cheat for forcing plot. The writing is not bad but the author has problem to make progression in the story.

    3.0/5.0

Wasted potential. Ik ya'll gonna flame me for this but yeah, this is just a wasted potential— I'm still reading so I hope things will change at later chapters. I'm just at chapter 120-123, I don't mind the slow progression, I love it. I feel like it's more realistic that way considering the Mc isn't heavenly blessed with talents— instead, he actually works hard to achieve something.

I love the unique world building, it's not a post apocalyptic like The Mirror Legacy, nor the classic war between demonic and righteous. The world is at peace.. well sort of, almost everything is in order due to the governance of Dao Court, but people outside the noble families and sects are living in miserable poverty life. The early chapters (idk where will it end) are just pitying those people and the Mc , sacrificing his potential for a noble goal of helping the poor, he's naive but I don't hate him for it, just slightly annoyed.

The one thing that I hate about this novel and why I think it's a wasted potential is that the consecutive forced plot! Like forced plots after another.

The mc, know how to deal with arrogant nobles by just talking— either by lying or using truths to deceive, because he claim that he doesn't want troubles. But then, when he learned an offensive array, he wanted to test it, suddenly there's an arrogant young master asking about his friend(a girl, yes) he could've lied and talk hiw way through but no, he decided to provoke the young master knowing damn well what kind of reaction they will get. It's realy out of his character ngl. The mc learns an offensive array->he wanted to test it-> suddenly a young master showed up-> there he go, he "tested" it on that young master and nearly killed him and got into trouble🤡

He learns an evasion spell->wanted to test it-> a demon cat and conveniently speed type, perfect for his training suddenly appeared. He showed it kindness and spare its life and it turns out it's a king, a cat with hidden background, oh what a coincidence 🤡

And then when he wanted to get more inks for his array, he decided to risk his, and his friends lives to go to demon territory to get ink. He have a lot of ways to get more ink without risking his life? That's really out of his character of "doesn't want troubles" I really hate it. I kkow the author could've write better than using forced plots to progress his story but oh well...
I'm still continuing reading this and hope it'll get better.

Not much to say other than: ITS PEAK!!
Very slow overall but the more you read, the more you will come to love this novel. I genuinely think this might be one of the most freakishly underrated cultivation novels. It gets even crazier when you catch up to the raw on Scribblehub. 9/10 please read
