    A couple hundred chapters were unusual and interesting, but then interest starts to wane. After 300, you're forced to read. Chapter 354 (24 days without an update) I started reading a couple dozen chapters of AI MTL, and it's clear why the translation stopped - it became too boring.

    Honestly, I quite like this novel at chapter 245, the mc is unique with his flaws and you see him improving at every single "checkpoint" in his tiring life, be it cultivation or mindset. People complain about gay stuff in here but mc is straight for sure just some misundestandings with humour, which i would just attribute to authors uniqueness. If you want something new which will make you appreciate Xiaxia world more I do recommend you read this as its very rare to see such worldbuilding 😁 All in all, after so many brain dead novels, Im sure this will last me for a few hundred more chapters for sure welldone

    Nah, There is no gay shit in here. This novel is quite good.

    Yeah some people mistake him to have preferance for men for a short while but Tbh It was funny.

    The novel had serious moments and sad moments. It is not repetitive. At least I didn't find any repetitive thing.

    The novel is as it said is about a rogue cultivator's life. Many minor details that many cultivation story don't have. You will like the story telling.

    I don't personally like the protagonist that much but I had read worse. He felt real Maybe.

    He do bad things that he don't thinks as bad like robbing. Its tough for rogue cultivator you know. Resources can't be brought by sect points here.

    All in all he is like typical xianxia protagonist. Hypocrite But without the ambitions to kill the heaven.

    He's a pretty chill guy. Which is the reason why I kind of like him.

    I mean 50% I don't like him and 50% I like him.

    So, Read this if you wants to read something new. Soft hearted but not too slice of life story.

    What top novel? A bunch of bland gay comedy at the expanse of ruining mc's reputation and everyone believing him to be 'bent' and pitying him for him being 'impotent' and some other senseless scenarios like: 'he is live-in son in law and everyone pitys him', 'gay golden core wants to f#ck mc', 'typical cold wife treating mc coldly', 'everyone misunderstanding something about mc'....

    It was fine for the first 100 chapters. Then author got too much into comedy and it ruined it. At least, for me.
