Basically tragedy suffering pain regret anguish despair all the time. If you're someone like me who only wants to read an MC become powerful whether through hard work, effort step by step become stronger and better then DON'T READ THIS!!!Of course there are some happy times or good chapter but it's too rare . And there's too much bullshit drama. Of course some people who like this kind of novel will argue with me . And that's fine people have different taste in novels after all. It's just that I don't like this types of novel

    Ending is... something in the middle. There are some good things happening, but overall it's an absolute catastrophe. It ends with a hope for a better future.
    
    In the end, MC will have kids with Olivia, Harriet, and Ellen, but romance will be either sad or just not exist.
    
    The novel itself is not about comedy or romance. Idk why everyone is talking about the harem when the story is not about it. Maybe MC loves Ellen, but every other girl got friendzoned. The girls love him, but he just treats them as friends and no more. The author either doesn't know how to write romance or it was never intended here.
    
    I like the story because it has good characters and an interesting plot.

      The author only knows how to write about suffering, especially a love that is difficult to work out. It's torture.
      
      Ellen
      was the most wronged in this novel, her psychology was destroyed throughout the novel because of Reinhart's lies and her lack of courage (I know she has good reasons, but being honest, half of all the difficulty is her lack of courage, yeah frustrating), at the end of the novel she ends up spending 90% of her days like a cat and living without emotion practically, that's sad. This isn't really a love story, it's just a drama for you to suffer.
      
      If the author gave more courage to the MC, this novel would be sensational. He could also do a better job writing the happy moments that were almost non-existent, easily forgotten.

      foi a mais injustiçada dessa novel, seu psicológico foi destruído ao longo a novel por causa das mentiras do Reinhart e sua falta de coragem (Eu sei que tem bons motivos, mas sendo sincero metade de toda dificuldade é sua falta de coragem, é frustante), no fim da novel ela termina passando 90% dos seus dias como um gato e vivendo sem emoção praticamente, é triste isso. Isso não é uma história de amor realmente, é só um drama pra você sofrer.
      
      Se autor desse mais coragem pro MC esse romance seria sensacional. Ele também poderia trabalhar melhor a escrita nos momentos felizes que foram quase inexistentes, facilmente esquecidos.

This novel needs the tragedy tag. I'm on chapter 406 in MTL and I caught some spoilers. Basically we have an MC who is lost in his own guilt all the time. He has an altruistic personality, preferring to sacrifice himself all the time rather than making sacrifices, making any plans he makes impulsive and having dire repercussions, he basically just gets screwed for the entire novel. He's the Demon King but he doesn't seem to want to deal with it until the shit comes out, his friends like him but it's all built on his lie in being human and his sacrifice for everyone.

I'll give an example of the shit that is now.
Liana's father dies, Duke Grantz, it is an ambush planned by Brutus, blaming the Demon King, why Reinhart decides to make the appearance of the Demon King public, the Empire takes advantage of it to clean up the anti-imperialist. He is used and this generates self-blame in him when he sees Liana. Charlotte (useless) loses succession to the throne and is basically condemned to death, Reinhart talks with Brutus and to save Charlotte decides to declare himself to the world as a hero of the holy sword and engage Charlotte. He lets Ellen and Hariet down like this, with his constant lies and impulsive plans. Ellen suffers constant self-blame for this as well and decides to be knighted by Charlotte, as another wielder of the holy sword.
Further on when, after chapter 429, when he is declared the Demon King, even Ellen is against him, suffering again, she is dominated by evil spirits and corrupted and all her friends try to kill him, except Olivia who trusts him until the end.

This novel is basically about a guy with a guilt and self-sacrifice mindset for his "work", I love that it's very human but I also hate that it's super frustrating as he doesn't have a firm mindset and a goal of gain. himself, he always ends up hurting himself or those close to him, prepare to suffer if you read this and yes, all of this is at a very slow pace, as everything is very detailed, that's why more than 700 chapters in the Korean original
