    Fun book to relax.
Skipped last... 40± chapters, but it's worth to read.
No romance, but that's probably for the best.

I think it gets worse as it goes and by the end it was quite boring but for the most part it was a fun read.

One of the most unique novels I have read and this doesn't disappoint.
The humor in this is so good. One of a kind system and it was used properly.

No heavy moments. Just relax and read.

Heyo there, I was just wondering if the MC in this novel gets stronger ? Or is he a mortal ? Or is he already super strong ? Could you tell me what happens to the MC strength-wise ? kef

I will not write bad or good, I will just say that I am amazed at Chinese greed.. the main character has 1 only friend, he never helped him during the whole novel, even though he was a millionaire.. although he asked every time.

Stfu. It has nothing to do with being Chinese.
I am not Chinese and I like the MC doing his own thing, helping someone if it's completely necessary but chilling and not giving a f#ck rest if the time.
I don't think I am the only Xinxia or cultivation novel reader who thinks like this.
No one has the responsibility to give his friend money to play games. If he's in life and death situation it's your moral duty to help and help him so he doesn't starve. You can help him till he gets up on his own feet. But you'll have help your friend who is doing well so you'll be called a good friend and not get hated on by pricks like you? That's bullshit. It feels like what lazy and useless people say to make themselves feel good and get a reason to hate and feel jealous of his/her well to do friend
You can not like the character bro but why generalise the imaginary character with the people of a whole f#ckin nation. You dumb f**k

By the way I don't support communism or the totalitarian system in China or anywhere. Suppress the people for whom you were created? Hell no

That's why he is a friend to help, to share the joys and sorrows. And to feed the starving.. Any passerby can do this, it is the duty of a righteous person, your friends are unlucky to have a small, selfish comrade. Why China? 90% gg are all greedy

I help my friends but never will I ever indulge them. I have seen my Dad been taken advantage of by his friends because he is soft and kind. "Everything we have is given by the blessings of God", is what he says when I ask him abt those matters. I agree with him but only to a certain extent.
Helping can never be bad. But enabling people to remain useless is not the way to go.

And the main point was calling out an entire country accusing them with this bogus

Yeah, at greed is at least understandable and conceivable to most people, meanwhile in America we have people who think they are reptiles and cold blooded. Greed, i would say, is a lot better than that.
or at least a lesser crime.

I'm confused why people compare this to other slice of life novel.

Just from the title it's clearly just something to read while in free time and to have a nostalgia with old and amazing console games (nowadays mobile phone has more users)

Well this is 4.5/5 overall for me
5 if it's not about the buddhism.

    Not againts it.
Just tired of reading that everything comes back to investiture of the gods.

Waiting to have something high end game but not that investiture of the gods, again smh. That's what make me rating it at 4.5

This is not a good read at all. Lazy writing, one dimensional characters, retard mc, fillers everywhere... I sincerely think the standards of my fellow readers here are extremely low.

I read until chapter 658, bit i felt this novel was bad since ~100.

Oh... and don't forget the constant obscure chinese cultural references amd quips.

If you want a really good slice of life novel without lazy writing (like systems, powwr levels, infodumps and such) i recommend Beware of Chicken.

Bro this novel is literally about an old Game from earth and then introduce the game to the cultivation world. That's the point of this novel. Did you even read the title?

Power levels, Systems, litrpg are lazy writing at its core. Either a Deus Ex Machina inserted since the beginning, or just infodumps to nurture a false sense of progression of the characters.

I've already read dozens upon dozens of this novels, and it has been done somewhat right only once or twice.

Lazy and bad authors, improperly planned and penned stories and pitiful horny readers in need of some easy wish fullfilment fantasies with a power trip. This combination is cancer to the mind.

Why do you expect high literature from webnovels?

Most webnovels are completely nonsensical and shallow even taking into account the premise of the fantastical aspects. As an example most of these stories ignore culture or propriety, the settings perefunctory.
Even if there is any attempt at "worldbuilding" for the most part they bluntly mash modern culture and politics into it with purpose being junk wish fulfilment or propagandise "politically correct" but morally wrong and biologically and historically ignorant virtue signalling about "democracy", "sexism" when sending women to battle that are magically as competent as men or "racism" when races are depicted as practically identical.

At the same time most novels or indeed most texts are the literature of junk food to be consumed by the lowest common denominator, reach word-count goals for $$$ or are written by casual hobbyists.

There are thousands of texts of substance to learn from and enjoy if esoteric (inner) qualities and meaning are what we seek.

I have read until the end.

This is an incredible book. It's so good I even read it twice because I couldn't find anything better. It's the kind of book that once you've read it, you lose an appetite for anything else. The MC has an incredible personality, the extremely funny moments where MC and the system do something stupid, whenever he stumps someone for being so upfront. Every single moment is incredible, and the games only enhance that fact.

The world building is amazing, and the characters make it feel lively. If I could give 11/10 I would, but to be fair I'll just say 10/10.
