    Weird how this novel have so many flaws but still one of my very favorite. While the other reviews are somewhat stating facts I would recommend still giving it a try, I really enjoyed it personally. I think unless you’re picky you won’t really notice the problems (I didn’t) but ig it depends on the reader anyway.
    Things I liked;
    -op mc
    -waifus(It’s a Chinese cultivation novel uh what were you expecting
    - constant aura farming
    - my glorious king bane of demons
    -plot driven
    - interesting world building and secondary characters

          It's just that I'm used to reading novels where my brain can work as well as an MC that is not overly naive for more than 600 chapters and MASSIVELY carried by EXCESSIVE plot armor.

          I preferred Dual Cultivation to this and that one also failed to progress the plot until it had milked word count to an almost absurd level.

            Well, if you read the author's note (although it's not here, it's on the free novel app) he said the MC was going to be naive at the beginning, and that if you weren't ready for character development, the novel isn't your cup of tea. So....

              There's no character development here. The main character is simply naive for 700 chapters, then he remembers his past life, and then in certain situations you hate him for his naivety, and in others for the fact that he kills people without reason.

    I am 2023 chapters in, reading since it had around 300 chapters. Been a long journey. I will say it is decent start to one's webnovel journey, but veteran will trash it anyway. I personally like it, yeah i am biased as it was my 2nd webnovel, and over the year grew attached to the characters. It is a light read, not overly complex. For those who wonder when MC grows out of naivety, it's around chapter 700(it's a lot I know), and that's when I would say the real plot begins. Since I went in without prior experience of such novels, I had fun even in those 700s. But I can understand how others might feel bored and quit if they are experienced or hates naive MCs. It's not the best story but definitely not bad one. Especially if we compare it to the current AI generated novels that floods the webnovel app, its 1000x better.

    It's got incest, mc is niave and the character progression is barely there. Removing all the chapters with mc and his gfs won't affect the understanding at all, this shows how useless ALLL of them are.

      It does NOT have Incest, at least not yet as of the time of this comment.

      It does have his adoptive sister having confusing feelings for him I will say but he had not returned them, just is aware of them.

      Honestly the family could have easily adopted him to marry into the family from the start so I don't really see the problem as he always knew they were not bio related and she found out pretty early on.

      She also cared for him as his nurse/caregiver when he was completely paralyzed from the neck down. Was literally urging him to live when he wanted to die.

      The author sadly didn't let Meixiu shine early enough imho. Perhaps because they had second thoughts about that relationship but have chosen to correct it now. Would have honestly been better if they had just gone for the 3 of them from the start.

      Nope, its slop. The writing is AI tier. There is no build up and everything gets resolved in several chapters. Same people with same reactions, just different names. Just endless grind for abilities. And for what? Even the author probably doesn't know.
      Really don't know why I keep reading this. At least early chapters made me rage, now I feel nothing.

    This novel sucks,
    - I can't really get invested in the characters - they're so empty. Mc has zero character development - many loopholes ( to be a music genius and remember complex musical pieces from young age - you have to be smart - your brain should be capable of functioning - which author doesn't realize. Also what Yuan's daily routine was like after he became crippled - 4 or even 6 years. Like shouldn't his sister or meifeng provide him with some basic classes - common sense and stuff, entertainment from which he can also get common sense, listen to anime, podcasts, audio books whatever - it's logically impossible to be so naive and stupid at the age of 18 until it's a coma which is clearly is not the case in this story. arguments like his parents didn't want him to learn all of this and focus only on music - not gonna work because after he became a cripple he couldn't perform anymore - so like I mentioned he had like 4 - 6 years of free time - where his sister took care of him - at what she obviously sucked - so basically the author telling me the mc just slept ate all day long and done nothing? - this is stupid ) - also it's 600 chapters and with so many fillers and stuff -
