I see people arguing that the system forces FL to have interactions with the MC, personally I don't care about that.

What saddens me the most is the fact that the author always wants to hide the MC's mastery of the hammer, and that supposedly his sword master is just to be cool, the author should have just made sure that the MC had a unique talent for the sword from the beginning instead of adding an incredible talent for the hammer.
I'm in chapter 81 and I'm gradually losing interest in this novel because of the fact that the author doesn't want to exploit this originality that stands out from the clichés of a sword cultivator.

If someone can spoil me and tell me if the MC uses the hammer more later than the sword in public it would be great and thank you in advance, because I really don't want to continue at this point, seeing the MC wield all kinds of sword techniques just to say later that he is inferior to the real genius in the field after all in combat people noticed that he has shortcomings although his learning talent with the systems can be described as perfect.

I agree. The author forced the MC into that as a “funny” joke. It just comes off as off-putting and irrationally unrealistic. No person will ever force themself to something their less talented as, and completely disregard something that they’re more talented in. Because for “looking cool” we’re not talking about a 7 year old child here.

      At Chapter 562.
Don't know how set spoiler so...

      /spoiler
The MC gradually come to terms with the fact that he's untalented in the sword and uses his hammer more, the sword is an obsession/hobby for him and since he's quite childish it persists in the narrative . He doesn't really use his martial insights much on hammer techniques as he can master them rapidly without it, But whenever a serious fight goes down he usually pulls out his hammer to fight.
He's raised his word skills pretty high but that was only after he integrated sword skills and hammer skills using hammer techniques with a sword and sword techniques with a hammer
      /spoiler
Tl;dr: The swords here to stay, but he dual wields later on with hammer

As to your comment on the use of hammer, the Mc will being using it more knowing that it's his greatest weapon. That doesn't mean the Mc will just give up on the sword. With the power of the system, the Mc can and will cheat the time to learn any sword techniques, but knows there a time and place to be cool and to be serious.

    This novel is very bad.

The Mc is supposed to be the most OP in the novel, but he always has a hard time while fighting.

Mc has a cheat that can give results hundreds or even thousands of years of insight/training in instant, but has difficulty against a talented young boy who is 20 years old.??? If that's the case, the MC is just trash who has trained for 1000 years and is still defeated by a young man who has only trained for a few years.

If you could swing a sword for a thousand years without interruption, then your swing could probably split a mountain, But mc doesn't.

    Trash novel.

    I’ve read till chapter 241.

It’s good. But not my cup of tea.

I didn’t like how the female protagonist’s system kind of coerce interactions with the male protagonist. It kind of crossed the line when the system made her kiss him.

The involvement by the system is creepy and makes their relationship feel artificial. The female protagonist doesn’t have a choice since her system is the only way to achieve immortality.

Would be a 10/10 without the system’s involvement in their relationship.

What do you mean she doesn't have a choice? The system is like a cheat. She can simply not follow the system and achieve the immortality in her own way. She made that choice. She chose to do it.
There's nothing creepy and artificial about it. After all, she made that choice herself and fell in love herself.

No, I wouldn’t want someone I love be forced to be intimate with me. I’m sure they would have gone intimate along the way even if the system didn’t interfere and if they really loved each other. The system’s punishment is just unnecessary.

System cares about mc than her. She just have to be in humilation situation to get reward that are many times inferior to mc.

The system makes sure she never wins to get the top rewards. MC somehow gets unrelated rewards for the task he had completed. And that somehow always put her below mc becasue of mc and she gets punishment.

MCs his own abilities aren't even fraction of her without system and he didn't do anything that mad him above her in any skill by himself

I don’t think that’s quite right. The system isn’t “making sure she never wins”. She still has her own free will and choices. She enabled the punishment mechanism herself because she wanted the bigger rewards and the chance at immortality. The punishments feel unfair, yes, but they only exist because she accepted the risks for the benefits.

As for the MC, the system giving him unexpected rewards doesn’t mean it’s biased against her, it just means both of them are playing by the system’s rules. In the end, her setbacks come from her decisions, not because the system took away her ability to choose.

And on top of that, the author clearly uses this setup as a comedic device. Her punishments and the MC’s “lucky” rewards are exaggerated for humor, to highlight the contrast between her pride and his accidental success. It’s less about true fairness and more about making the story entertaining.

      Chapter 2:

[Clear all milestones, and you shall attain the opportunity to ascend to immortality.]

The system’s next message made her breath hitch.

      Immortality.

This was a term that existed only in legends!

It was said that in every era, the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths would give birth to a singular, peerless "Immortal."

Transcending all living beings, a true existence beyond mortality, an eternal being.

Yet ever since the Yu Dynasty unified the land, attaining immortality had faded into myth, as if the path itself had been severed—only adding to its mystique.

This was also the greatest secret sought after by generations of powerhouses across the Nine Heavens and Ten Earths.

With the path to immortality barred, she, brimming with confidence, ultimately chose the most arduous road—one that only a handful had ever succeeded in throughout history.

But in the end, she still fell just one step short...

This so-called "system" actually held the key to immortality?

Barred, cut off—implying that there is no way to achieve immortality. She even chose the most difficult cultivation(which I assume gives the most benefits and best cultivation path possible).

      Also in chapter 2:

      [Prompt: Enable defeat punishment mechanism?]

[Upon activation, rewards will be richer, but the host must carry out the defeat punishment on the top-ranked challenger after rankings are announced.]

”Must” implies that she literally has no choice but to comply. And here, it never says the consequences of not complying. Thus what I mean by “forced”. Though she literally brought it to herself from arrogance. It still doesn’t make it more disgusting.

      Chapter 83:

[Detected host has activated the "Punishment of the Defeated."]

[System will temporarily withhold all rewards until host fulfills the penalty conditions.]

[Failure to meet conditions results in system unbinding and destruction of all rewards.]

[Current penalty condition: Share a bed for one month with the one who surpassed you.]

      [Challenge begins at dawn tomorrow.]

Perhaps tell her about the full consequences? Like ts actually pmo. The system is so annoying. Though she dug her own grave with her arrogance. But I’m sure if she knew that the system would literally unbind from her, she wouldn’t take such a huge risk, after all, she’s the only one getting benefits from this ranking regardless and no one else. If she still takes this risk with full knowing of the consequences, then that’s her fault. Now she’s stuck as the system’s puppet.

Like seriously, they were already falling in love, the system was just unneeded. Useless plot device only used for fan service.

Yes, she has the choice to unbind the system. But does she really though? Keep in mind that immortality is the ultimate dream for all cultivators. Losing that is equivalent to losing their life—and Ying Bing is a cultivator through and through. It’s okay, because ultimately, the protagonist is someone she loves. But switch the protagonist with other male characters. Suddenly, we’re not okay. Then we have a problem.

That’s all I got. I’m just giving evidence from the novel for my review. If you still want to read it. Go ahead.

You’re saying the system “forces” her, but that’s not accurate. In Chapter 2 the system asked: “[Prompt: Enable defeat punishment mechanism?]”. She chose to activate it, fully aware punishments existed. The fact that the exact form wasn’t revealed doesn’t make it coercion; it makes it a gamble she knowingly took.

When Chapter 83 shows the system withholding rewards until conditions are met, that’s enforcement of the choice she already made, not the system suddenly trapping her. And remember, she could have refused back at the start and still kept all the ordinary ranking rewards. Immortality is tempting, yes, but that’s the point, she took the risk out of arrogance. So the system didn’t puppet her, it simply held her to the deal she agreed to.

And, you say she wouldn’t have taken the choice if she knew the full risks, but that’s not true. In the second competition she makes the exact same choice again, even after already experiencing the punishment once. And later, she chooses it a third time as well. So it’s not a case of her being “tricked once and trapped forever.” She understood the consequences, and still willingly gambled because she wanted the rewards badly enough. That shows its her decision, not the system forcing her.

I remember that there was one reward where she had to get slap in butt by MC, she didn't wanted this reward but system forced that reward into her, she said don't want it and system said " I heard want it", making FMC butt fill weird until she get slap. Tell me how is this not forced.

            Here's why it happened:

            and

Although it is stated as a 'reward', in fact, its a punishment. Because previously she attacked the 'Winner' of the system competition during her punishment as shown by this: -

Therefore, its not forced. If she didn't accept the punishment mechanism in the first place, or if she carefully did her punishment after her defeat, the system would have not dealt with her in such a way.

Pretty sure it's says that the reward she was about to receive has its grade drop, it's still a reward. It's similar to "You did great work and won 1 Million but cause of sh*t you pulled now you will only recive 1000$." But in this case after doing the work she still didn't got any "reward", if it was punishment system wouldn't have asked for her opinion, so I don't see where are you coming from.

Nah, I’m good. I’ve read it a few times already while replying to the others above, and my conclusion is that it’s not really a reward, more like a punishment disguised as one. It feels like the system is mocking her by presenting it as a reward. On top of that, the author is clearly going for comedy, which probably explains why it was written that way.
