The Sword Sect was tricked into believing that MCs sect was full of demonic cultivators and the Sect Leader of that sect is a typical sword cultivator who has a insane hatred for Demonic Cultivators and so will eriadicate them no matter what. Later, after he finds out they are being framed, they somewhat support/ally with each other, but not significantly.

The other sects were entrusted by major sects in the Central Reason to target MCs sect. With 1 of the sects ACTUALLY being full of demonic cultivators and so decided to use that as an excuse to try and devour them all and break through to Nascent Soul.

1 of the other sects is directly linked to the main sect from the Central region who is responsible for this all in the first place. They are full of wackjob loonies who are obsessed with observing the stars/celestial phenomenon and forcing their own interpreations onto it. They basically believe there are people known as "Demon Stars" who are extremely difficult to kill, always come back stronger, destroy everything around them etc. Basically like typical protagonists. They (potentially mistakenly) believe that one will appear from MCs sect and that it likely is MC himself, so they put this whole thing into motion. They are currently trying to deal with a Demon Star in the central region, which is why they put into place the 30 year deadline.
