    Personal review:

Satisfied. I can't rate novel but I really enjoy the journey. What i like:
    - The characters is OP. Not the main character, but his children and friends are all OP. It might be a negative thing for some, but i like it because they're reliable so i have zero stress reading the story. I know they'll solve the problem easily so i can be relaxed.
    - Likeable MC. Some mc are stupid or morally questionable. But i really like mc and his friends here. Though i would say that their personalities are a bit shallow, esp the mc.

There's many things i also have complaint about like the mc really got side-tracked and more focusing on his children most of the time. The characters aren't fleshed enough, etc.

But i feel like the Ending and After Story are really good and interesting to read. So if i would recommend it

It wasn't terrible but was exhausting to read. The start was rather intriguing but it felt like the author didn't know where to take the story and so it just became a repetitive tale:
*Child A finds him and turns into cat
*Something happens that exposes A to child B
*Child B gets mad about not being told
*Child A convinces B to join in and become a cat (rinse and repeat)

It was fun the first 2 or 3 times but by the 8th time, there's really no point anymore. Same thing with the "father-obsession". We get it, you're all crazy about your dad.

The mystery of his real identity was getting somewhere but also fell off incredibly

10/10 fun novel, easy going, read till the end and although ending was a little mid, but most novels can't even do endings properly, so its fine.

better than expected. the ending is a bit disappointing, not worth the buildup. well, the story has some interesting twists, so it's okay. but the emotional value of the story is adequate. the character development and interactions are satisfying, the ending is touching, which justifies the sagging plot component (if you're a fan of that genre). the story includes detective elements, but is mostly heartwarming with comedic undertones. there are "I'm Really Not the Demon God's Lackey" vibes, but the similarities are limited to the main character's unawareness of his great power. Also it's short enough so quite light.

Definitely not the greatest novel you'll ever read, but it's entertaining for sure. Give it a try!
