    It is a good horror novel. From what I can tell, it takes place in the universe of The Conjuring. However, the way the novel constantly emphasizes how handsome the protagonist is, and the curves of the female characters, feels strange. This happens even in life-or-death situations, like inside a haunted bus. The protagonist is a walking aphrodisiac. Every female character that appeared up to chapter 33, where I stopped reading, was immediately attracted to him as soon as they laid eyes on him, literally, he didn’t even need to say a word.

      Uh… it does not it just takes inspiration and some horror stuff like entities like Pennywise show up later on it’s not in a specific universe I’m guessing you think it’s the conjuring cause of Annabelle? But it’s not if it was a fanfic it would say so on novel updates and then show up here also the main character is handsome yeah that gets mentioned but he isn’t a “walking aphrodisiac” there’s a single fl and the story is super great I wouldn’t recommend dropping 30 chapters in and the next parts after the haunted house gets better I would recommend you to continue reading

    Remind me of My House of Horrors. But unlike MHOH, ghosts cannot be resolved by talk no justu. Ghosts in this novel is like artifacts in SCP, they follow a set of rules and MC has to analyse the rules and finds the loophole to resolve it.     This is one of the best novels I've ever read (from MTL so it's definitely even better than I say). From the title you would think it's a traditional cultivation novel, but it's about a world of ghosts and spirits and demons etc. with some of the ones the protagonist encounters being from various tales. The main character is intelligent and relies on his calmness and clarity to resolve situations rather than plot armor, being very good at planning. There's a lot of checks and balances and the power system relies more on artifacts than on personal power like qi from cultivating. The novel also has quite a lot of mystery to it which is actually intriguing and the plot is well-thought out with unexpected twists and turns that aren't straightforward like most other novels.

      I vaguely remember reading this book on mtlnovel, and I stopped at the moment


      Then the translation became too bad and confusing, and I couldn't continue reading. Will it be interesting further? Should I go back to reading?

      The translation is not bad, better than pure MTL. 3 years ago, there wasn't even a ChatGPT where you could read a good MTL 🥲

        I think I read up to chapter 500, as the translation was definitely bad. I'm going to try out this MTL to see if it's any better. I think you could read on further as it's still definitely interesting (I think you only got up to chapter 80)
