I have yet to find decent vampire novels it's either gae or cringe

Not a bad work... if you ignore the battles and the vampire parts.
Seriously, the battles are resumed - to not say worst, while every single problem is resolved with 'cavalry'.
The enemies have a 100.000 army? Send cavalry. Do they have a squad of elites? Cavalry. The f*cking gods and demons descended to have fun? Cavalry will resolve.
Then there's the absurd political play that can be resumed into: "I'm gonna sever my arms and legs, so I can harm myself and then declare that X and Y schemed against me."

To be honest, the MC is seemingly the only vampire in the world, thus there's no one aware of his weakness - a very interesting setting and advantage. Yet, the guy stays amid the nobility, getting headache after headache because of their plots and nonsense... instead of staying low-ket while building his strength and forces.
Oh, almost forgot, every girl is a fairy-like lady with jade-like skin and a peerless figure - and don't matter if they just left the sewers, they will still smell nice.

If anyone here has ever read "Game of Thrones : Holy Flame king", you'll know how heavily "influenced" it is. But hear me out guys, I'm just stating it as a fact, not criticizing it in any form but tbh it really lowers the fun factor when you can sort of guess the upcoming chapters.

3/5 the premise is good and the story is alright but the haphazard translation and mistakes really bring it down. It needs to be refined a little by good translator then it can definitely get a 9/10

Recommended novel.

Our MC sees himself as the first vampire initially, at first he begins to explore his power, soon after he begins to enter the world of feudal politics. I think this is the best part of the book, it shows a lot of the political intrigues of the nobility, the MC uses his unique Vampire powers to grow in political power and strength and introduces many characters that fuel great suspense for the book.

There is a good romance in this book, the MC is a nobleman who marries his main wife and keeps some mistresses on the side. It is not polygamy, it is just the noble practice of keeping lovers and a main wife.

The power system is very simple, it goes from Rank 1 to 9 in different professions (knight, warrior, ranger, etc.). Although it is important, it is not the main focus of the book, this was also a disappointment of mine, I thought the author could have worked more on exploring the power system and the unique powers of the MC.

Finally, this novel also suffers from the biggest flaw of Chinese novels, a rushed ending. Honestly, I found the ending very uninteresting and simple, there was a lot of space to explore and explain, plus there were many arcs with more suspense with political intrigues than this ending, some antagonists disappointed me.

Final grade: 3.7/5

Fantastic novel filled with intrigue, starts off very childishly but the world keeps on expanding and maturing. Read 400+ chapters. Overall recommended.
