Well except the last 40 chapters, it was enjoyable.
Dunno why or who rushed the author, but it definitely left a bitter aftertaste leaving it end like that

Ending was mad rushed but it was a pretty decent story before that. The leveling system and volume of experience points he needed for leveling up is pretty badly written. All in all, good for passing time

the only thing bout the story is that the ending is.. well, there's no ending really. it's not rushed, it isn't open ending, it is not goosebump-esque, things just suddenly got "summarized" maybe around 50 chapters before the end. there are many questions still unanswered, overall loose, yet despite this i'd still give this one a very positive review

the story, pretty sure it's from The Legendary Mechanic, you can see it on so many plots and events. but for me personally it's not that big a deal cause although it's incomparably subpar, MC and the story itself are enough to make this enjoyable, and the story's main plot is cultivation, unlike TLM. also, to me the best part is that there's not many things that'll give you the reason to drop, that's always welcome

no harem, no annoying bitches, no Young Masters, no dumb forced plots. there's a lot of funny and dumb shit, MC has normal personality traits like lampooning inwardly, shitting on others, likes towards beautiful things and women in general. there's also good things which TLM lacked, like cat-eared loli, and a lady who needs a whole rack to support her rack

I don't understand the hate for this novel. After reading so many fast-paced brain-dead face-slapping junk novels, I find this novel full of life with vivid descriptions and honestly, quite refreshing. I quite like the way this story unfolds, the slow pace isn't boring either due to the occasional comedy and some lighthearted situations. Most characters are likable and hilarious.

I think this novel is not suitable for impatient shallow readers who want the story to progress quickly. I always feel that description and world-building are the most important things in a novel because they make the story come to life. Shallow readers who kept complaining about the slow pace really annoy me, it's worse when they deem a novel bad just cause of this.

Edit: Finished the novel. The novel itself is fine, nothing much to complain about except for some minor stuff. If there is one thing, though, it is the ending. Again, the author rushed it, you can tell when the MC jumped straight from level 60 to 80. There were many loose ends as well, which were not mentioned. It just simply ended, albeit with a rushed conclusion to the final boss.

I quite liked this, it's funny and the characters are rather interesting
