    It starts off enjoyable, but as you progress through later chapters, it becomes more demanding. A familiarity with classic wuxia novels, or at least having read them, enhances the experience. While it's possible to read without prior knowledge, understanding the references the main character makes adds a deeper appreciation to the narrative.

    I give this novel an A
    ,in comparison with IAm the Fated villain it's way better
    1,so evil and cruel an mc that i actually felt bad for the protagonists some of who were actually very decent guys unlike the dick brained retards in IAm the Fated Villain nobody feels bad for
    2,Petty and jealous which makes him real but also shrewd and cunning at the same time,no mentions of the mc being smart while just having common sense like in IATFV,u can see this mc is actually smart
    3,No mercy for absolutely anyone even those who like him(makes me sad sometimes)
    4,amazing schemes that kept getting better
    5,the system is sentient but not annoying
    There might be some i didn't think of,the only thing i didn't like in this novel was the all over the place start which became better quickly and an arc with obscure novel references but i still was able pull through it
    In conclusion for me the mc is the best villanous mc ranking above any mcs i have read so far and this book is the best i have read i a while

      I don't get it, the MC is picking his fights and avoiding battles with people he can't defeat, instead, he schemes and plots to kill them all
