A person's perspective plays a vital role in developing one's personality. What happens when you realize the world you live in is the same as a Novel.

Zero Elea gets a Skill called Parallel Memory which allowed him to get the memory of his alternative self of a different universe.

He realizes that the world he lives in is similar to the novel he used to read in his alternative world. The world will face catastrophe in the future but there is no need to worry as there is a main character working hard to save the world.

And what about me? I am but a mob character. Collapse

In short, a 'Discount version' of Author's POV.

Basically like a parallel universe of Author's POV, where all the rip off characters (main gang) are a more useless and incompetent version of the original, with the villains also being horribly incompetent while giving the cringy chinese novel chain villian vibe...especially when they behave like cannon fodder.

Then you can also say this is a rip-off version of the ripped-off "The Novel's Extra", since "Author's POV" is ripped off from "The Novel's Extra".

Really? Wow... Sure sure, I'm sure you've read The Novel's Extra. People have different opinions and although I don't think Author's POV is bad, it still doesn't make me think that it's better than The Novel's Extra. But whatever.

Have you read far into it, or just a small part of it? Cus TNE first half is way better than TAPOV, while Second half TAPOV is leagued better.

I'm at 483 for APOV and I've finished TNE. I'm pretty sure that's far into the "Second half" you're talking about. Like I've said, different people have different opinions.

Although TNE has a rushed ending that wasn't done well and many conclusions were not mentioned, it was overall better IMO since some scenes really did capture me and some ideas were really innovative. The part where the MC has to kill a person to save many people gripped my heart so much and the scene was written so well that I still remember it to this day even after so many years. The follow-up where the younger sister of the deceased went to find out about the murderer is also done well, then when she found out who the murderer was and why he did it, it was even more heartbreaking. What added to this is the fact that the elder brother cooperated with the MC (while he hesitated) to get killed since he also realized there is a devil inside himself. All these were explained to the younger sister by a third party and it really got to me.

As for APOV, although not a bad work, you can still feel the amateurish vibe from the writing. You can't commend the originality either since ideas were copied from here and there. There are many forced plots and there are storylines written that were copied from other novels like the Legendary Machanic. Some of the plots are there so that events can happen just so the MC and his friends can resolve the issue. There are also many plot holes not explained either.

              For example:
Going into the dungeon and was "forced" by the sandstorm so that he will be "forced" to meet the demon. Very forced.

              For example:
Lowering the defense of the "Number 1" academy in the world so that demons can infiltrate which will then be resolved by the MC. This happened multiple times and it's really weird how the academy did not learn their lesson after so many attempts at their students. Very forced.

The author's attempt at comedy felt dry and none of the characters make you like them, even though you don't really hate them. None of the scenes really resonate with me emotionally as compared to TNE and I find reading it a chore, which is why I'm stuck at 483 when there are already over 500 chapters.

Of course, people reading the work casually will like it. People who haven't read hundreds of other novels to find this similar will not notice, and so they will also like it. That's why I say different people have different opinions. People who are used to eating shit will find that normal food is the best food in the world, while people who are used to eating delicacies will find that eating normal food is torturing.

                I honestly disagree.
You talk about forced plots, the him killing nayun's brother is the most force shit I've ever read in my life. Super unnecessary and only induces drama which never gets resolved.
Well, after that it just goes completely downhill. Everything is just boring from there.

                Regarding your other points.
Going into the dungeon and was "forced" by the sandstorm so that he will be "forced" to meet the demon. Very forced.

Well yes, you've read to chapter 483 so you should know VERY well that the meeting was not random and on purpose.
Lowering the defense of the "Number 1" academy in the world so that demons can infiltrate which will then be resolved by the MC. This happened multiple times and it's really weird how the academy did not learn their lesson after so many attempts at their students. Very forced.

I honestly find this very weird. Why do people randomly assume that the academy is impossible to infiltrate? It would be forced if the one infiltrating them is so no name organization, but when its the number one villain organization which is leagues stronger than an academy, what would be forced and unrealistic would be the academy not getting infiltrated.
. There are many forced plots and there are storylines written that were copied from other novels like the Legendary Machanic

regarding this part, i saw author say somewhere that he never read the novel and his inspiration was hitman 47.
Also, if you've really read up to 483, then you should know the answer to most of the 'forced' plots since nothing happens randomly.

                TNE has many good things
But characters are way too flat. Several times u start like in new world
I was part of f5 sect for TNE and i just couldnt force myself to read after 300 or so chapters
TNE could be great, but it isnnt. Its quality decresed with higher chapter count

Similar to The Author's Pov (story wise), it's worse than The Authors Pov in my opinion however this doesn't mean its bad there are quite a few similarities and just as many differences. Authors Pov feels alot more serious and goes into world building better while this feels pretty quick paced in comparison.
My main complaint is the overuse of cliche and it becomes quite a bit worse towards later chapters. Fortunately I turn off my brain when I read

I liked the novel its pretty similar to APOV for start but at recent chapters its changing direction in different direction (or so I think at least) cause I expect turn in plots due to the multiple parallel personality he( and I kind of expect some cliché to happen)

So is a review from a nameless nobody
Rating = 7/10(It will just increase as long as author doesn't f#cks up later)

It's below decent until he meet his childhood friend
and then the author just throws everything clichès left and right between them (you know bathroom clichè? And there's more of it) and it became trash. Trust me it's like extras survival with the same mc with above average iq in the start but it decreased to the lowest that they became so stupid when making decisions in just 100+ chapters and also slightly misspellings and a lot of overused clichès and last but not the least a cheap copy of author's pov. 1/5★ if you sure are not a fan of clichès and dumb protag don't even read this it will just upset you
