She transmigrated into the body of a little girl from a fishing village! Her father is honest and foolishly filial, while her mother is weak and ill. Moreover, her siblings are still young children.

Her father was the best fisher in the village and breadwinner of the entire family. However, when he got injured and was on the verge of death, her cruel grandparents and uncle kicked her whole family out. They were hungry and cold with nothing but an empty house…

But that’s ok! She has a multicolored stone that can accelerate the growth of crops. She was also an expert at preparing braised meat in her previous life.

Just watch as she, an eight year-old girl, challenges the taste buds of people who lived during ancient times. With improved high-yielding crops, she’s going to become the most famous farming expert in the world! Collapse

I dropped at 80+ chapter. The story is stupidly slow. The MC is too indecisive, she only take action to a problem when the opportunity spoon feed her. She waited until her father almost died in hunting before she thinks of splitting with her greedy and short-sighted family. A lot of conflicts are going around and the MC is always in "wait and see" situation, until troubles accumulated and finally exploded. Where the h**** is the Slice of Life? This is not how a slice of life is WRITTEN!!!

The currency also doesn't make sense. The MC supposed to get 100 taels from saving the Prince, and according to the story 4-5 taels is the annual expense of ordinary family. However, just a few months and that 100 taels was reduced to just a few copper coins!! Too much BS!

I wanted to cool off with a peaceful and less conflict stories like slice of life. But damn!! This is the first I feel frustrated reading a slice of life novel! No, it's not even a slice of life—it's just a story that took place in rural place. I'm surprised that this had 4.1 ratings.

So to start off, the story is slow, in terms of their family breaking of with the evil stepmother/grandmother. I mean it was good, but they could've done it earlier. In terms of farming? It's more of like a business type of novel instead of a farming one as is stated in the summary. NOTE that the farming/growing of crops started at chapters 60+ if I remember it right 😂

Reason is MC being a transmigrator herself, didn't do anything, she just went with the flow of the events.

MC also IMO is a pushover in terms of her recipes and making money at the start. And she contradicts herself so much, like she doesn't want to stand out too much but does all of those things? LOL

the food she cooks its really, really tasty in real life it also smells like shit, the hype is a little too much, also the romance focus part is when the quality fell for me.
i read to relax not to see a agressive (probably schizophrenic) main love interest abusing his politic power to throw the history off track by violence being treated as a dreamy guy
