    Turn away, fellow Daoists. This is poison (at least in the earlier chapters).
    The MC seems to follow the Dao of the doormat, not suitable for the orthodox path!
    Perhaps if he had obtained the Heavenly Treasure of "a Spine"... But alas.

      problem is that many author turn this good premise into a chain to nerf the MC.

      And god forbid if the family is a little sister, then it’s either he ends up marrying her (one of many many of his pokemon harem) or she gets kidnapped, and he plays find the waldo for a thousand chapters.
