Xiao He unexpectedly gained a criminal cheat skill that allows him to learn all kinds of crime-related abilities.

—But the catch is, he has to keep “stabbing people” to stay alive.

Xiao He: …I was a perfectly fine college student, who the h*ll wants to be a criminal?!

Huh? There’s actually a loophole!

By chance, Xiao He triggered a bug in the cheat skill. He figured out a way to substitute real crimes with acting performances and broke into the entertainment industry as a professional villain!

He can be a refined yet depraved mu*derer, wielding a chainsaw and haunting everyone’s nightmares.

He can be a heartless, despicable fugitive whose crimes are so notorious that the public wants him dead.

He’s a romance scammer, a serial killer, a cold-blooded assassin…

He’s actor Xiao He!

—At first, Xiao He was just trying to survive by constantly taking villain roles.

But unexpectedly, he rose to fame with his so-called “nonexistent acting skills” and became one of the hottest award-winning actors in the industry!

Everyone in the business knows: the more people a script’s character kills, the faster Xiao He accepts the role.

But outsiders say: He doesn’t look like he’s acting at all—better investigate him thoroughly!

Even the fans are saying: Bro, please stop killing people! I’m seriously scared you’ll end up in jail!

Yet, while the real “cancers” of the industry kept getting arrested, the one who looked most like a villain—Xiao He—kept thriving, even sweeping awards like crazy.

Eventually, everyone was like: Whatever, let him stab people on screen for us. Just give him space. Collapse

Bom, eu tentei ler, mas a partir do capítulo 263 ficou realmente impossível.
As propagandas nacionalistas e alguns aspectos das habilidades do protagonista acabaram estragando a experiência.

I thought it was a good novella about the tough show business. In the end, I barely made it to chapter 200. There's so much patriotic propaganda and the main character's useless acts of helping everyone that it makes me want to puke. Other actors are willing to do anything for their cause and don't give a damn about anyone else, and those are the ones who achieve success, but not here. Here, the main character, who helps everyone at the expense of the f#cking system, walks around believing in a kind of injustice against those who are truly willing to do anything for success. This f#cking clown show is designed for brainwashed Asian zombies who don't understand how the real world works. Someone like this main character would have been buried in real show business the first time he tried to believe in his useless justice, and he would have deservedly gone to feed the fish. Only suitable for idiots who don't understand the real logic of things in life. If you're not willing to do anything for your goal and want to be everyone's doormat and help old people cross the street, that's your choice, but don't bother making some bullshit propaganda novel about how helping f#cking worthless people who are nothing is a good thing. I was expecting a criminal protagonist who walks over people and tears everyone apart, but they gave me a f*ggot who pees himself at the thought of harming anyone. Not only does he not deserve success, he belongs in the gutter. Any supporting actor in the story who don't give a f#ck about his fans and everyone else is more rational than this wh*re of a protagonist.

I agree with everyone. The story is really average. The system is only relevant in early story, and become nearly nonexistent later on. There's no immersion like other acting novels I've read, but still good to pass time. In fact, if it didn't lose its brand—MC criminal vibe, this may have been more interesting.

Pretty fun read. Might be a bit shallow but’s it’s like a… as they call films in this novel, a commercial novel. Is fun, comedic, isn’t anything too deep. Does the job and earns money for author

It's pretty boring, even as far as junkfood Novels go. You can't even treat it like a guilty pleasure because of how superficial everything is. No depth, no immersion, and it's a shame. (Ch.158)

Yes, I agree too. The first chapters caught my attention, but by 140 chapters everything slides into tediousness. The main character lacks motivation and character development. The chapters turn into cat litter, and the chapters are read through force in the hope of change. But the author doesn’t want anything from me and will only become more boring
