“Melina, the Kindling is no longer needed.”

“For I have attained a power from beyond this world—a force that defies the very order of life and death!”

“One day, I shall become the Sun, and the glorious Age of the Golden Sun shall dawn once more.”

…The fallen leaves bring tidings:

Beyond the fog, in our homeland, the Lands Between, a Tarnished has become the Elden Lord.

Under the rule of this new Lord, it is said that the people shall know an era they will call—the “Age of the Golden Sun.” Collapse

Just completed this story, I read through the MTL chapters since the quality was actually decent, or rather I should say the translated version and the MTL version were quite similar.

Overall, I rate this story an 8/10. I like the overall concept, the way various plots were woven together, although some aspects were very contradictory. Still, I think the author managed to resolve the story in a very clear manner.

There are some things abt the story that I did not like, harem is one of them. Also the MC got really OP towards the end. At about halfway mark in the story, MC's strength is already eclipsing every boss in the game. It was expected from the beginning since the title mentions as much, but this was handled really well in the beginning of the story. But around the time when he enters Land of Shadow, his strength is already the PEAK of this world kindof.

I think the powerups could have been handled a bit better around this part, but then again the story's pace also picks up accordingly so maybe that is why I was able to bear with it.

But the end game fights are basically all the same, the MC trying to enjoy them by suppressing his own strength type of thing.

I personally stuck around cos I genuinely love Elden Ring's lore and wanted to see how various characters and their stories would be resolved, which was satisfactory in a way.

Pacing and writing wise I would give this a 6/10.

Grammar and readability wise: 7/10 [I am used to MTL, i think it might be lower]

    I had fun reading it.

Had a very high potential to more than just that, but that changed when the cheats was introduced. Oh well, it was in the title.

      I've read 48 chapters.
The cheat is heavily restricted. It only looks OP at first glance. Firstly, each cheat can only be activated for a short amount of time. Usually, a few seconds to a few minutes depending on the cheat. And there are only 5 uses, after that the MC has to replenish the bar to use it again.
The way to replenish uses is to

The novel itself is pretty good. The MC is a knightly protag(won't hesitate to kill his enemies though), which means he's "righteous oriented" and sometimes does selfless good deeds. For now, his goal is to bring peace to the world.
