I'm disappointed cuz I was expecting more detailed s.x scenes but no author chose to write '' they did the deed'' or ''they go again'' one line.

I won't try to convince anyone to like this. But I'll say this:

I've read a lot of LN's, anime, hentai, manhwas, etc. and I've never been as thoroughly entertained. I've never seen more surprises, and I am currently reading, "I Am The Strongest Boss," which is a novel take on a demon king.

I don't know why this has such low ratings, but I also don't care. There's something interesting about something as novel as this. The MC isn't stupid, he often finds himself in tight situations, he uses intelligence more often than not to get out of bad positions, and he is powerful without being obviously threatening. His relationships with his companions are also not static, like in Overlord wherein they're programmed to follow him so the concept of them betraying him is more a thought experiment than anything. In this, the strongest is the leader by default, so he becomes wary of his followers bc there's a chance that if they realize how strong they are that they'll try to overthrow him.

It reminds me of the Warband mod, Last Days of the 3rd Age, wherein if you play as a goblin at some point a goblin upstart in your army will challenge you for leadership rights. And if you lose, you lose your entire army. The rules are completely different for goblins, they have no morality, and it makes for a different story than the traditional Mushoku Tensei adventurer's guild and adventuring or the Solo Leveling, one man army trope (bathed in purple fire and wielding a dagger, no less) that's become so prevalent in manhwas. Several times I tried to predict what would happen in this, and almost every time I was so wrong that it was shocking. It takes the story in unexpected directions, and when everything is so derivative, it's a refreshing change.

Every expectation I had was overturned, every prediction I made was incorrect, and this is the best exploration of the experience of a goblin that I've ever read. If most people miss the nuance of that or pull out before they get to the satisfying conclusions, good. Serves 'em right.

Don't wast your time... It's bad

This novel was a huge disappointment. The concept is interesting, but there are several major problems. First, the narration is bad. It’s poorly written and feels boring to read. The characters lack personality.

The protagonist adapts from being a completely normal human to the most powerful person in one chapter, which I could tolerate. But what really frustrated me was that, despite being portrayed as intelligent and rational, the protagonist makes incredibly stupid decisions based on emotions.

For example, he ruins himself by seeking revenge on someone who wronged him, instead of staying safe and developing his skills. . Despite being presented as clever, he naively expects a dragon he helped to return the favor, which is out of character for someone so supposedly cruel and calculated.

Overall, this novel fell flat due to poor writing, unconvincing character development, and frustratingly illogical decisions by the protagonist. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I read till current latest chapter 50, and the novel is good. Except for the echi scenes, the mc is ruthless, and has goals. He knows how to use strategy. I recommend it.

You know… I dont understand why a lot of novels do monster evolution from goblin or like a tree which I see most common, others not so much
