* The (+) sign means that these chapters will be added to the extras already guaranteed. For example, when we complete goal 1 of Power Stones, I will release a chapter. But if we complete goal 2 of Power Stones, I will only release one more, completing the 2 promised.

But in the Privilege Chapter Unlocks goal, after completing goal 2, I will release 2 chapters in addition to the one already released with goal 1.

* The extra chapters will be released according to my chapter reserve. If I can release all of them immediately, I will do so as soon as we complete the goals. Otherwise, they will be released either at the beginning of the following week or at the beginning of the following month.

    ### Novel Review: A Disjointed Attempt at Everything

This novel tries to do it all but ends up doing none of it well. It starts with a promising mafia-building plot, but soon veers off into an origin story, making the main character (MC) a hero and the continent's last hope. The mafia theme, hinted at by the title, quickly fades after the MC drops his Caesar alias.

Power dynamics are a mess. Somehow, the MC's minions advance rapidly and inexplicably, even across different countries. The introduction of pentagrams as a power system, similar to "Soul Land," feels needlessly complicated and poorly executed.

The most powerful people in the novel are unbelievably dumb, ignoring the clear advantages of firearms. The MC introduces firearms to help fight monsters but waits too long to share this knowledge widely, which makes little sense.

In the end, the novel's lack of focus and direction leaves it feeling disjointed and unsatisfying. It’s a subpar read that fails to deliver on any of its ambitious promises.

    BEFORE READING THIS

You need to know that this is one of those "deadline after deadline" type of thing. Some of them a bit ham-fisted too, with the story having no time to breath. I'm at chapter 251 and some of these deadlines are pretty bad making the MC a kind of bad borrower, the type to borrow money to pay another loan. At some point, he basically stops negotiating and it's always "I gotta endure this" or "I'll be more powerful by that" but it just seems stupid because you only negotiate like this if you are negotiating in good faith (which he absolutely has no reason to, in fact it's the opposite), or if you're stupid.

But the MC isn't really stupid, nor is he acting in good faith, and these circumstance shows "the hand of the author". Honestly it's not as heavy or as poorly done as is in some other works, but it is noticeable and makes for a worse experience that it could be.

It's still pretty good tho, that's a fact and MAYBE, if you read this from time to time instead of binge-ing it, it might even be a better experience. As it is tho, could be better.

World building could be better too, good for a webnovel but that's about it. If you really start thinking about the things that happened to this dude and things he could've done with the assets available to him, well, I guess it wouldn't be a "mafia" story but I think it would've made for a less hectic one which is available to the MC nonetheless. Basically, he has more problems because of how he choose to do things, not necessarily bad, but can be disagreeable at times and the perpetual deadline does get tiring.

Here's my review after reading 261 chapters. Do not expect a well structured review as I'll just point out what I liked and disliked.

Firstly, the biggest problem this novel has is that it's cringy, it's webnovel-ish, it feels like you're reading something written by someone with zero experience who is just projecting his fantasies into his story. The title of the novel is already a dead giveaway of this imo, but the titles can be misleading so I still gave it a try. The whole mafia idea and the formation of his own mafia "family"/group can´t be said to be original, but it can definitely be interesting if written properly. Unfortunately, the author kinda fumbled it, by making every character interaction around it cringy. The MC has lines that start
    "As your Don..."
and that's incredibly, again, webnovel-ish and weird to read. In terms of grammar and I don't really remember there being any big problems, it's just that the author's way of writing that is severely unpolished and, unfortunately, that shows. Do not think that it'll improve as the author writes more because it doesn't.

The story also uses something that I hate as motivation for the MC, which is senseless tragedy just for the sake of leaving him desperate, enraged and with fuel for his not so bright goals. Right at the start, though I forgot which chapter, the MC's family, and himself, go through three tragedies in a row. Some acceptable while other not.
This is pretty much the prologue of the story.

Harem/romance wise, there's only 1 romantic partner right now and their relationship has only started, but i can already see the harem tag come into play. The romance is alright at best.

Overall I wouldn't say that it's an awful webnovel, but at the same time I also wouldn't say it's worth reading. 3/10 at best.

The mc is like a 6 years old that watched a mafia’ s film and dreams about being a mobster. Other than the super cringy mc the author used all the clichés to make his family die or get kidnapped and give him more reasons to grow stronger and build this mafia family.

The novel is just revenge revenge revenge thats all. I dont recommend this shitty novel. The author is very simplistic, wanting him to kill his family and take revenge. Oh my god, what an original story I've never read before....
    Don't read like crap.

Honestly for a so called ‘mafia’ member, the MC acts way too much like a cry baby. Can’t stay calm for shit and always throwing a tantrum at himself and self blaming like a loser.

The only good thing here in this novel is the action nothing else.
