Tl;Dr: Basically, this novel had a lot of potential but the author ruined it by clowning on mc in every possible way so much so that you feel pity for him.

This novel isn't necessarily bad. The world building is good, the power system is good and even the side characters are likable..
It's just that the author really doesn't respect the mc. The only way to describe him is pathetic. He follows the path of scholars but he admires martial artists and is also written as an idiot. The only reason he makes it as a scholar is because his eyes give him photographic memory.
I mean author could just say he had good memory from the start and cheats just improved it but he just has to make mc look as pathetic as possible at every f#cking chance. I feel pity for the mc being written by such an author.

If you're going to make the mc the creater of the universe by the end of the novel, at least make him somewhat impressive so it doesn't feel forced.

How do i judge a novel?
I always ask myself if i would recommend a friend to read it ...
This novel is a Faillure.

A short review after 350 books. 1. Harem? Yes, it smells of a harem here, but by this point he had only slept with his wife, he has feelings for one more girl and that's it, with the rest he just communicates. So at the moment the harem did not interfere or irritate. 2. The main character, an ordinary smart and calm hero, nothing new but nothing that would irritate. As for me, it will do. 3. Secondary characters, again, like the hero, there is nothing super brilliant, but each has a goal, and apart from a few moments, they act quite logically. 4. The plot, up to chapter 200 I really liked how everything was going, now everything has stalled a little but so far it is bearable. This is not a book about some spectacular battles or adventures. This is something similar to a piece of life, where from time to time events occur in which the hero takes part. 5. The beginning is the worst thing here, it is advisable to endure the first 15 chapters because there is illogical nonsense going on there, but there will be no more such nonsense. Even the author himself wrote that he realized that he made a mistake in the first chapters but decided not to correct it. Total 3.9/5, I recommend reading it, especially if you like a smart hero

Cang feilan, a FL with good potential didn´t know that there are martial arts that make use of the blood to make a super strong move, even though she has a "super mysterious identity". The author dumbed down the almost likable FL into some generic chinese novel heroine that it´s just a decoration trophy and a meat shield, just to make the mc looks smart when he uses his "eyes" and deduce the next step of the enemy just before he completes his plan and get fked anyway.
it´s not worth it. Even the father of the mc was so seriously dumbed down for the mc to gain recognition and fame doing something that the head of the family couldn´t do. If the father was that dumb the Qin family would have ceased to exist even before the mc was born.


just another generic Chinese cultivation novel that i drop.
it´s not total garbage but for people that have read the same sh+t for years it´s not worth it

The introduction of gun powder ruined this novel for me I do not like heavy science elements in the fantasy genre

II don't really like novels where the MC's wife is some kind of deity because you already know that the MC will eat sweet rice every time and always look for problems with others instead of minding his own business

Harem? yes
He has 2 wives currently, maybe more

Strength? He's not strong

Knowledge? He has a lot of knowledge just by reading the book once, he already memorized it because of his cheat about it

The power of the cheat is that the X-ray eye has 2 functions.
1: can see organs, cells, meridians etc. in the human body so he becomes a doctor
2: just read it once he immediately remembers All the contents of the book.

Is this worth reading? 50-50 it's up to you if you are looking for a strong MC then this is not a recommendation for you (strong MC does not include OP MC). Because the MC here is so weak that he even has to be protected by friends, plot armor, his wife, and various protective amulets

The MC here is always in trouble or he is looking for trouble

Even the weakest enemy can kill the MC. When this enemy is defeated, a strong enemy will come and an even stronger one will come and what does the MC do? Yes he can only see everyone protecting him if no one can protect him anymore then plot armor will protect him and this keeps repeating itself

The romance/Harem story here is very forced, in my opinion, 2x sudden marriages, even the MC didn't know that he was going to get married, he felt like he was being forced (but after Married he loves both his wives) so if you are looking for a dating MC first then this is not a recommendation for you

The overall rating of this novel in my opinion is 2/5 or 3/5 I can't give an accurate rating because there are good scenes I will give it 3/5 but if it's bad in my opinion then 2/5
