Stupid nonsense

I've been reading this novel daily for more than two years at this point, randomly felt like leaving some review.
The harem part? Kinda meh, but I never liked harem novels at all, so if you are into that, you might like it. I frequently enjoyed the chemistry between various parties and Ah Zu , but there also were chapters where I just prayed for some action to begin. Oh, and older girls aren't forgotten, they still appear from time to time - although some took long to appear again. Eh, I was still glad to know they had their own advances and other plot actions, they do stuff even when not relevant to current arcs - but it's kinda sad when in a novel there are no friends, only lovers. How many male characters did he befriend? Really few. Well, at least they weren't forgotten and later on got their own future and stuff, so that should be a point for good background or something, but I wish we had more friends like that.
On the other hand, the main plot is quite nice. I liked the use of Chinese culture there, pretty much everything was enjoyable except for one major arc - to be fair, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't good either, and even then it still had its very good moments too, especially when it evolved into another good arc and had some nice sub arcs.
The keyboard system is amazing, I love the abilities, the descriptions and whatever else this author put there. Ah Zu is also very nice when it comes to the main plot, battles and so on - but, to be fair, I saw a lot of complaints about the early chapters and I don't remember them well enough. Someone complained about him being an emperor's dog - well, he couldn't really act up, but when he got some chances, he used them, and I don't think that part lasted long. Overall, I didn't find issues with that. Also, I'd say that he uses all his abilities in a smart way in battles, I rarely saw moments where my very expert opinion would suggest one of his other abilities to make life easier. I get especially happy when he still uses some knowledge from Earth if it's relevant, suddenly cheating the cultivating world.
Ah Zu suddenly stops being a cool MC when it comes to women. Two of them bickering? Feels like he is not present anymore unless the topic becomes suggestive again. A girl rejects intimacy? Yes to all conditions, yes to everything, never touching other women, ignoring her shyness, this is definitely the last last last time, let's do it in public and invisible, whatever. Like damn, author, we just had a nice ~200 chapters streak of amazing plot action, please don't ruin my happiness (that's my actual reaction to the most recent chapters, but at least all these moments don't last long).
In conclusion, I'd say that this novel is quite good as something you slowly read and enjoy mostly not seriously, and it would have been amazing if it didn't have such terrible low points. If you are actually into harems, you'll probably like whatever was going on there. If you also like cool concepts overlapping with each other with quite nice explanations, then give it a try, but I'll admit that this aspect became a thing only later on at a more suitable power level

Since 2000 chapters, this work has become my favorite. There are so many overlapping concepts, but not breaking each other, as well as a connection with the past and the future, without plot holes, as well as explanations in these chapters of the events of the past are incredible.

A brief overview for 1000+ chapters. Minor spoilers are possible. I highly recommend reading up to chapter 300-400, there is comedy and more or less normal romance, and in general the plot is not bad. But don't even think about reading further if you don't like it when the hero: 1. The emperor's dog who completes tasks as quickly as possible in the hope that the owner will praise him and give him a new task. 2. The plot ends, then everything will follow the same scenario, the hero meets a girl, an hour later saves her risking his life, and they either flirt or are already having sex. And so on in a circle, this is the whole engine of the further plot. 3. The hero has a strange fetish, he marries his women to another, in the hope that his child will not bear his last name, and will call another man his father. If you don't like this, then I recommend not reading this, or reading only 400 chapters. Good luck.

lEnough. I've had it. The author pushed girls to the mc instead of slowly developing romance and shit. It's to the point that it's blatantly obvious that the author, unable to write anything satisfactory in romance, has to introduce just dangerous situations so that the mc can f#ck. Like what are we at in ch 1000, 25 girls? Not only that, he also forgot my favorite girl . I'd live through the face slaps, but it seems to me that the plot is just absurdly stretched.


I'll give this overall 3/5 and it's mostly because it has a decent tl. 2.5/5 for plot. 2/5 for world building. 1.5/5 for romance. 4/5 for some comedy (Mostly in the start though gets too forced onwards). 4.5/5 for tl. 1/5 for character development (Mc has lived like ). 3.5/5 for characters. (I honestly like the characters, it's just a slightly bad execution).


Although I may not have read to 1000+, but I still think it won't get much better than the earlier 500. If you're reading this because you don't have anything to read, I suggest just dropping it before the emperor arc or about 500 in.

Alright, I'm dropping this.

It's just too boring. The whole thing turned into excessive wish fulfillment. The keyboard is hardly essential to the plot in any way - it's been 300 chapters and he still hasn't unlocked a new emotion. Everyone is so aggressively one-dimensional and static that it's just become cardboard cut-outs. Chuyan is a default tsundere. Qin Honglei is exactly what her job implies. Pei Mianmian is just "haha strong woman punched by MC to win her over". Qin Wanru specifically exists to be that one character that always says "there's no way" even though MC has done it already. I hate her specifically for being the peak incarnation of ignorance - an idiot who will look directly into the sun, get their eyes burnt, and say that the sun isn't real because they can't see it anymore (due to being blind).

So worthless. It was a decent popcorn read, but I'm done.

This novel is pretty good. Just the early chapters might turn a lot of people off. I’m at chapter 160 currently. All I have to say is there is a retard named Milan that can’t stop showing the people how small his penis is by spoiling repeatedly in the comment sections.
