Dying at a young age after a disappointing life. Mat thought he hit the jackpot when he got reincarnated on a tropical island as a baby. Here, his dreams of exploring mysterious lands and learning magic are a concrete possibility.

Everything changes when the outside world comes knocking. The world of Elydes is beautiful and magical, but also wild and savage.

The Guide blesses everyone and is impartial to all, people are not. Mat has the lowest starting point possible and those like him rarely go too far.

Will he let his humble birth define his life or find the determination to realize his dreams of delving into the arcane and explore lost civilizations.

He will have to use all his smarts and make the most of his headstart if he wants to gain the power to explore the mysteries of Elydes.

***

4 chapters a week Mon-Tue-Thur-Fri (10k words)

What to expect:

- More realistic take at reincarnated in another world.

- Slow and constant growth, with ups and downs. Don’t worry we’ll get to a smart ass-kicking MC if you are patient, but our MC will have to build his strength and determination one step at a time, getting back up after each setback.

- Not a grimdark story, but there will be a dark elements (there are a few sad chapters near the beginning of the story).

- Be ready to explore the mystical world of Elydes Collapse

This story has me hooked with it's more realistic ways of story telling. The chapters are lengthy and detail filled with good MC and side character personalities. I enjoyed how the MC faces ordinary problems most people go through. The Author has captured perfectly the balance between the chosen one trope and an ordinary man problems. He keeps enough mystery on the story to keep you wanting more. The Chapters are info filled and the MC's reasonings are valid for the ordinary child. In alot of comments alot of readers felt the MC was over dramatized; cases like when he first killed a Man and went through a brief period of self loathing for knowing that even if it was for vengeance it still aggected his moral principles. I find these comments particularly unreasonable and out of touch with reality particularly because for most of the story theC is still a child....
Great read so far With a Rating of 4.9/5

I've reached book 4 and the MC is really useless, bro has almost 0 progress he is always obnoxious, never learns, too naive for it to be realistic and is consistently incompetent in even the things he is supposed to be good at.

I say it every time, but overdramatic child MCs really suck to read. Even at age 15, with a sum total of 32 years life experience, bro acts like a mopey teenager. This novel ain't for me, and judging by alot of the early comments, I'm not alone on this.

I mean they are a Mopey teenager. I've not read it yet but I would expect even a reincarnator in the body of a child still has the body. Hormones don't really care about your mentailty or mental age...

I just got to where you said he's an overdramatic MC and....Fu#k you!!! You are either out of touch with the real wordl to an extreme level or an extreme basement dweller gooning to edge lords. I truly hope you get to experience some empathy in your life.

Buddy its a novel not politics yeesh.

I also expect more calm from an adult, being one myself. Im not the only one with harsh opinions of the character either.

I only made it through the prologue and chapter one. I have read, tried to read many novels on RR. What I found is that whenever is that the author is writing in first person, or spends too much time focusing on the mental state of the MC, then you are in for a boring, cringe-inducing, drama filled novel. A novel that is more like the author's attempt to complete an assignment from their therapist.

Every other paragraph is going to be a comment on their mental state or them suffering from anxiety in their new world. Then if that's not enough, the author adds a whole bunch of relationship drama to the story for no reason.
Some may like it because it's realistic. I just find it boring and annoying. Imagine trying to read Lord of Rings and it's just Frodo talking about how he feels and coping with the word, the whole novel. That's 90% of RR novel.

Initially, the story had me hooked, but as it progressed, the author's peculiar quirks started to overshadow the plot. After reading through over 250+ chapters, pretty clear what the author's intention is.
It's perfectly fine not to have an overpowered MC, but this guy? he will always make a stupid & basic mistake, only to be bailed out by others. And worst part is that, despite Kai's hard efforts or sacrifices, he's doomed to be an eternal comic relief, forever in the role to play second fiddle.

The excessive drama and the main character's foolishness were frustrating. The narrative constantly thrusts the protagonist into emotional turmoil. I had hoped for some character development, but instead, the main character continues to wade through contrived emotional conflicts. While emotions are not inherently negative, the author's portrayal of them felt forced, as if the character was burdened with an unrealistic moral compass at every turn.
Overall, the world-building is satisfactory but progresses too slowly. Character development is notably absent. However, the side characters are exceptionally well-developed. It's a fairly good story for those who appreciate a main character with an abundance of emotions and a strong moral compass.

Not my cup of tea, personally. The story started off rather interesting and seemed like there was a lot going for it but it was not executed in a meaningful manner. Spoilers ahead:

    Writing Quality: 4/5
    World Background: 2.75/5
    Character Design: 3.5/5

It's good, full life story with system but the problem is it barely started. MC is 10 in the last chapter. I advise to wait at least 100 more chapters(until chap 250)
