My first thought when reading the synopsis was, "can a zombie have a boner" And after i read the tag i didn't see romance or harem, lol my mind was corrupted with many Chinese doomsday novels i already read

Am I the only one who would be overjoyed if there was a zombie apocalypse or are there other people who feel like me?
I don't understand all this despair especially in the first chapters🤣
If you want to protect your daughter in that situation you can do two things as a man: Don't cry like a woman and do something more than wait to die or else snap your daughter's neck and throw yourself out the window.
These seem like the two most obvious options to me.
As a man I believe a man's basic ability should be to make cold-blooded decisions in desperate times.

Made it to chapter 15 before dropping. The first 12 or so chapters are golden, but then the MC turns into a wimp for the humans. Even when the MC s humans he in trusts his daughter to, threatens to kill said daughter if they don't make it back in an hour. And MC laughs it off.

Why are the comments so positive but the rating so poor?

In the first episodes, it reflected the atmosphere of the moment very well. I was able to put myself in your fathers shoes, and this took the novel to a whole new level. 8/10 so far.

I had a very similar idea for a story I was going to write, but as a lazy professional, I'm glad someone else does it for me.

The story has good grammar, flow, and pacing. The characters act how one would expect in a similar situation, all this said I’m dropping this. I got to chapter 6 but it isn’t my cup of tea. To me it is a bit depressing but if you like suspenseful/serious stories then I would recommend this
