    The MC has clearly never f#cking played a game. He needs to upgrade all slots to a certain level to have that level's buff, and instead of using his limited resources to get all of his slots to level 4, getting the tier 4 buff, he brings most of them to level 5 but leaving one on level three and one on level 2, getting a tier 2 buff instead.

    Actually, forget not having played a game, this is literally basic common sense, you need to maximize what you get out of a limited number of resources.

    There is currently nothing I want more than violating this man's human rights, but he's unfortunately fictional, so I can't do that.

    I don't get these kind of protaganists, the authors make them unlikeable and frustrating, then don't do anything to redeem them. It's like those stories where there is a fake protaganist who is just like this and either dies to show the real protaganist, is there as a villain or maybe redeems them to make them a better person.
