Hearing Lilith’s question, Vivian was completely dumbfounded as well.

Vivian had seen this thing before.
When she first met Lilith earlier, she had been holding this bottle, though she later put it away.
“What is that?” Vivian asked curiously.
“Do you remember when I said during the day that I had to leave to take care of something?”
Vivian nodded.
“Hehe, it was all for this thing.”
“So what exactly is it?”
“Holy water!” As she spoke, Lilith opened the bottle cap.
Vivian was confused.
She could not understand why Lilith would run to a church to ask for holy water.
“Vivian, recently I’ve realized something feels wrong with me.”
“I keep feeling like something’s watching me, so I specifically went to get this.”
“I heard that if you sprinkle this on yourself, any unclean thing attached to you will be driven away.”
As she spoke, Lilith poured a little holy water onto her hand and flicked some onto her face.
“See? I’m perfectly fine. That means I was just overthinking.”
Then Lilith turned toward Vivian. “Vivian, do you want to try some too?”
“Me?” Vivian pointed at herself and immediately shook her head. “I-I don’t think that’s necessary.”
How could Vivian possibly agree to that?
Not long ago, Lord God had still been controlling and toying with her body. Who knew whether the holy water would react because of that?
“That’s not up to you!”
The moment the words fell, before Vivian could even react, Lilith poured out a large amount of holy water and splashed it directly at her.
“What are you doing?!” The cold holy water landed on Vivian’s cheeks, making her jolt.

Nothing seemed to happen....
Vivian let out a long sigh of relief. It seemed her worries had been unnecessary.
Then she glared at Lilith unhappily. “Lilith, were you suspecting me?”

“Th-that... Vivian, can you help me check whether black smoke is coming out over there?”
“Black smoke?” Vivian looked toward the direction Lilith was pointing at in confusion.
Then her own expression became wonderfully complicated as well.
