    I'm surprised this doesn't have a loli tag. With MC being as perverted as he is, trying to perv on the underage character he controls, should we trust him to raise his little sister on his own?

    The wisdom of the sages says fiction is different from real life, your actions in games has nothing to do with your real life morality so I guess it's fine. He does seem to be a decent brother.

    It's a pretty interesting story with its own humor, and the narrative is also quite decent.
    The only disappointment is the somewhat stupid protagonist. It's not that I'm insisting he understands that this isn't a game, but real life; it would be unrealistic to expect such an outcome, because it would be nonsense. However, over the time he's spent playing, as a "top player," he should have figured out by now that the game's mechanics are designed in such a way that it feels like the real world. Living creatures exist independently of the player, time passes, events unfold, character interactions are like real living creatures with their own emotions and desires, and so on. There were more than enough clues for him to figure out at least 80% of what's happening.

    This isn't what I expected when I read the synopsis; frankly, the synopsis is somewhat misleading. But overall, it's not bad

      Usually in these types the MC has some antimemetic event preventing him from realising that's the case. idk if this follows that trend or if bro is just oblivious

      Edit: I see what you meant. Bro expects average video game logic to work in a "realistic life-like game" such as covering your face with a single piece of cloth hiding the identity of someone that is very high profile.

      I think the author is nerfing his iq for comedy because he seemed smarter in the begining, and that was when he didn't know the game mechanics.

    If original is 400 plus chapters why is mtl only 125 or so.. anyway i never read this genre before. Took me 2 or 3 hours to read it all. Not a complex story but i liked the pacing and the way the mc acts. Not a big fan of the skills and powers the mc has but its fine power progression at least.

    Basically a mc that controls an 'npc' but thinks its a game so he tries to speedrun the game and we all know what happens when you speed run... you min max and this results in hilarious situations.

    8/1 for me but i can see it become too windy if its a long novel. I expect it to be max 600 chapters or so

      Must be an error, there are only 200+ chapters on Qidian. Discrepancy in chapter count can be chalked up to the raws not being available. After all, someone has to buy paid chapters.

      there's a story thats similar-ish except the mc becomes their character its called; Reborn as a Transcendent (basically 2 separate worlds - its on this site but the latter isnt) and there's one with similar humor id recommend called "Reborn with Infinity Skill Points, I Enslaved All Universes" - if you liked this genre i mean, the latter breaks records similarly, basically spectacle but the humor's good - also the original is at chapter 340 or so for this novel specifically not 400+

      It is lame - it spirals into farsical slop built on misunderstandings. Most of the characters are shallow as cardboard cutouts, not to mention it becomes tiring to read about how the "player" (MC) constantly tries to speed run things and his idiotic monologue.
