Chapter 1862: Exalted Emperors Fall Like Rain (IV) |
Li Hao didn’t say anything and waited for the dao chess to sweep through Gorilla major world and incorporate the world into itself. The young man then steered the river of time and left with the dao chess and Number Two.
He met Void, the two dao masters, and the sizzling Thunder master along the way. They quickly fell in step behind the young man.
“Thunder World has revitalized and the Skyward dao universe is open again.” Li Hao immediately cut to the chase. “Take your world and flee into Thunder Region, now!”
The Thunder master’s eyes widened, but he quickly refuted, “I’m about to finish setting foot into eighth rank. Give me a bit of time. We can join hands with the monster spirits and fight the dragons…”
He was feeling very confident now.
“We can’t!” Li Hao grunted. “The Dragon master is definitely a peak eighth rank!”
Eh?
A peak eighth rank??
Li Hao was well aware of how terrifying the Dragon master was! That personage could sense the existence of time!
With that, the group directed Thunder World into Thunder Region!
There was no hint of hesitation in their actions as they’d conquered five worlds.
However, Li Hao remained very grave. The chaos beasts were far stronger than he’d anticipated and much more united. How many seventh ranks had his people killed?
Six on Phoenix’s side, leaving only Black Tiger to escape. Joining hands with the monster spirits had netted him another three, and with Earth Dragon and Long Xuan…
That totaled eleven seventh ranks!
Logically speaking, the chaos beast organizational structure should’ve fallen to pieces a long time ago. Not only did they remain coherent, but they even managed to leave with six major worlds. That was the most frightening of all!
Five of the twelve members in the Chaos Alliance had died in this engagement, but their main battle force yet remained. They still had six world masters—seven, including Black Tiger—and the Dragon master.
Having eight major world masters alive was horrifying!
Li Hao’s side had utilized a multitude of methods, but hadn’t been able to fully exterminate the enemy. The monster spirits of the five worlds had also put their lives on the line. Granted, not many of them had pursued their enemies to the bitter end either.

Skyward.
The dao universe cracked open.
Seventh ranks spilled out of it and fled in all directions. The Light master, Human King, and Ash Emperor gathered together and fled in the direction of Light major world.
Behind them, the Dragon master walked out with a smile on his face. He had Red Moon and his other exalted emperors with him, and had dispatched Skycloud, the eighth rank from the outer regions, and two more seventh ranks on this trip.
He’d eliminated three eighth ranks in one go and taken a large step forward on his grand enterprise! Only an alliance between New Martial and Light within the four regions would exert the tiniest bit of pressure on him now. The four regions had been completely overturned, leaving only two major factions behind!
He was very satisfied with everything, despite a hiccup taking place in Dragon Region. Two seventh ranks had died, but it was still a worthy tradeoff considering what he’d gained here.
But the moment the Dragon master walked out… his expression changed.
He gazed upon his domain in the distance, killing intent brewing in his eyes. A shocking killing intent emanated from his body. Everything seemed to freeze!
Many things appeared in his line of sight. Six major worlds carried by six chaos beasts were frantically fleeing in his direction. The six seemed to sense something when his gaze rested on them.
“Phoenix, White Tiger, Gorilla, Giant Elephant, Earth Dragon, Long Xuan, Long Ye, Green Snake, Treasure Seeker, one of mine and one of Phoenix’s have fallen!” The Qingqiu fox raised her voice in a grief-stricken wail. “Silver Moon King Li Hao is skilled with unique daos and killed our exalted emperors. He is a blight upon Dragon Region…”
Boom!
A wave of draconic might swept through the chaos!
A dragon hovered in the void, radiating unspeakable authority in all directions!
The Dragon master didn’t voice a word. He vanished on the spot with his dao universe and world!
Killing intent filled the entire universe.
The Silver Moon king!
There was only aloof, detached violence in the Dragon master’s eyes. I have erred.
I knew that Long Xuan and Long Ye fell one after another. I thought it was the Thunder master and monster spirits being rebellious. I thought perhaps there would be some danger to the region, but that we still have a great number of exalted emperors.
The chaos race is extremely ferocious! We can stand against any danger. I could accept some losses. It would all be for the glory of the chaos race!
But now… my heart bleeds!
It wasn’t just one or two exalted emperors, but eleven seventh ranks! This was a devastating loss.
“Li Hao! I will kill you no matter where you run to, even if you flee to the outer regions!” A low growl hummed through the four regions, like someone was uttering it with a burning dao of life. It rang of the speaker’s conviction to kill Li Hao!
Li Hao, do you know who you have made an enemy of?!
The Silver Moon king??

A cold light surfaced in the Dragon master’s eyes and he looked at the distant Light major world. They were in cahoots with each other!
The Human King had just arrived at Light major world. He paused, then looked back at the Dragon master with resignation.
“Don’t look at me!” he yelled. “I didn’t do it! It has nothing to do with me! Go search out Li Hao for your revenge!”
What you looking at me for?? I didn’t do nothing! Not to mention, hot damn Li Hao’s a crazy kid! You killed eleven exalted emperors?? Tsk tsk, you had a feast!
The Human King threw his head back with laughter and patted the Light master’s shoulder. “Ole brother, I’m going to borrow your world as my headquarters for a bit. If not, you’re done for! I’m calling all of our people here. Otherwise, the Dragon master will certainly attack Light. Are you afraid?”
Afraid?
The Light master stiffened all over. What do you think?? There’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Not just because I helped you, but also because of my son! My son’s with Li Hao!
He’s part of the group that killed eleven seventh ranks. The Dragon master will completely obliterate him!
He stared at the Human King for a long moment and asked stiltedly, “Can we… stand against the enemy?”
There were two eighth ranks and fourteen seventh ranks over on the Dragon master’s side. They were all the equivalent of world masters. The Dragon master was a peak eighth rank and had killed Skycloud and the eighth rank foreigner on this excursion. Would the two eighth ranks propel him to ninth rank?
Even if he couldn’t ascend to ninth rank, he might be able to create another eighth rank if he gave the gains to his people to absorb!
So… three eighth ranks? And one of them a peak eighth rank!
On their side, they had the Human King and Ash Emperor showing signs of breaking through to eighth rank or even entering it already. But they hadn’t seemed to fully do so either.
Even so, that would only make for three eighth ranks if they counted the Light master as well. But most critical of all was that they couldn’t stand against the Dragon master!
No, wait, Fog Mountain might be an eighth rank too!
In that case, they did stand a chance. One eighth rank was no match for the Dragon master, but the combination of the Ash Emperor and Human King could take him on, right?
The Light master was much more reassured with these thoughts.
“How did the Silver Moon king do it?” was the Light master’s next most pressing question. How could the young man have killed eleven seventh ranks?
It looked like the chaos beasts had been working together. There were seventh ranks congregating in their part of the four regions. Many of them had been world masters, so how had they died to Li Hao’s group?
It was impossible to fathom!
“Who knows?” The Human King stroked his chin and shrugged. “This is good. Otherwise, if the Dragon master walked out with another eleven seventh ranks under his banner… Heh, we’d be in for it then!”
Thank goodness!
If that’d been the case, they would have to go on the run and evacuate from the four regions.

The Dragon master’s vicious hiss carried into Thunder Region. Li Hao could hear it!
The young man didn’t make a sound. Of course the Dragon master was furious.
Off to the side, the dao chess was still dejected. My eighth rank dao universe has become a seventh rank world… I lost out big time!
Everyone else gained richly and I’m the only one who suffered a loss! How is this the final outcome??
The cat entered seventh rank, so did Void. Silver Moon is now a peak sixth rank world, the Thunder master is about to be an eighth rank. All of the participants reaped a rich harvest, but what about me?
I want to cry!
Li Hao mulled over the strength of an eighth rank universe as he digested it.
“The senior’s dao universe is a bit empty,” he said. “There’s almost nothing good inside. I owed you a seventh rank world before, which I paid off this time. So now I owe you an eighth rank dao universe…”
Mmhmm, I’ll continue to owe a debt to the treasure! It won’t affect the dao chess much, just that it hasn’t recovered to peak condition. I really didn’t have a choice then. I didn’t want to walk the cycle of life and death again—it’d be such a loss if I did!
This is much better. It’s just that my debt has been upgraded.
“The Human King and others should have been successful too…” Li Hao chuckled. “The Dragon master has always been strong, but the Human King should be able to withstand him. I just don’t know how Red Moon, Skycloud, and Blazing Sun are faring.”
The status quo in the four regions would be completely refreshed after this enormous upheaval.
“We’re still in Thunder Region and the tribulations are very strong,” the Thunder master said solemnly with a look around. “It also seems to be targeting us, so we can’t stay for long!
What he really wanted to say was, Li Hao, did you rob the chaos tribulations blind? There is a ton of eighth rank thunder and lightning aside from the tribulations in this region. It’s gone mad!
Thunder World would’ve been decimated the second they entered the region if he hadn’t devoured two major worlds!
