If the chaos beasts wished to flee, they stood a chance of ensuring one or two or their own escape. Not all of them would be able to withdraw, yet not a single one of them tried to run. All of the seventh ranks flung themselves in Li Hao’s direction!
The chaos beasts ignored the tribulation thunderbolts striking them and permitted the Thunder master, dao chess, and Void to freely chase after them. They didn’t care anymore. It seemed like they could pay any price possible to kill the two humans.

Very well, I’ve learned something today. It’s also helped me realize that what I experienced in the three regions is not the be-all and end-all. Not all exalted emperors are afraid of death.

It’d failed the moment the Treasure Seeker Rat was killed.
She smiled in a ghastly fashion, resignation in her eyes. The phoenix looked into the distance at where Skyward was. When… are you coming back?

Black Tiger vanished, shaking off Number Two. A dao star appeared over its head and shattered, obstructing the cat’s swallowing motion. It was a dao star that it no longer needed!
The tiger disengaged from the battlefield. It wasn’t afraid of death, but everything had been decided in this moment. The Phoenix master was immolating herself to stop their enemies, and it… needed to take Feng Yan away.
This was the Dragon master’s most accomplished descendant.

And lol at the mental image of a cat swallowing a tiger, but the tiger trying to crawl right back out of the mouth. XDD
