Yin Hu entered the camp in a huff. The bastard arrogant young master had followed them the entire way, staring at him the entire time. His hastened pace hadnt deterred him even one bit. If anything it seemed to make Hei Gu more intent on chasing after him no matter what. Much to Yin Hus dismay.
So, he did his best to continue ignoring him and levied his attention to the old ghost that brought him into this situation.
Da Ruis floated into the camp with his head held low.
The rest of the party rushed in after him and spread into their little pockets, though all of them were watching. Jun and Shui near the camp with Zhong Da and his wife standing just outside of their tent. Clearly fighting against their anxiety issue during difficult situations and the desire to dive headfirst into their personal safe space in the form of a mobile pavilion Yin Hu had provided them not too long ago.

Shui held a very familiar white furred bunny with red eyes in her grips.
It tried to struggle out of her grip, but froze when Yin Hu looked back at it. He could see the gears churn in its head visibly. One moment it had nothing but the desire to escape and the next it noticed his gaze and gave up immediately. Resolving itself to the fate of being a plushy to a little girl. Another poor critter that had fallen into the grips of the monster that was Hu Shui.
Might need to help the poor bunny escape later on when Shui isnt looking or has fallen asleep. Cant have it die from a heart attack terrified of Shui. It looks so flimsy.
Yin Hu shook his head and turned back to the old ghost trying to loop around and hide behind the couples tent. Well? What do you have to say for yourself? Getting caught up by a child at such a low level
Not that Yin Hu cared. He had tried to kill Da Ruis if the old ghost was speaking the truth.

Da Ruis took a deep breath, squared his shoulders, closed his eyes for a second before opening them, and then finally hardened his face. Finally deciding on the course of words he was intent on. I was out and about. Searching for potential disciples when I came across this Hei Gu. He threatened me he turned to the arrogant young master and gave him a nod that Yin Hu did not miss. ...in order to take the disciple for his Hei Sect of the Black Flame Dragon. I could have fought him, but the risk of hurting the disciple irreversibly was not a course of action I could commit to.

Something was being left out. Yet, it was hard to pinpoint what that was supposed to be.

Yin Hu wondered if Da Ruis feared retaliation from whoever this Hei Sect was. An ancestor arriving or maybe an elder of great power that could threaten them and the disciple Da Ruis had located. He, on the other hand, was not worried at all. They would be out of this area in the next hour at most and be well on their way faster than anyone could keep up with.
A blistering pace Rong had set. One that Yin Hu''s physical superiority to most cultivators he met matched without any issues.

Da Ruis waved his hand and a rift from his Sparring Instance opened before them. A fat chick of red, white, yellow, and orange feathers floated out as though being held by invisible hands and brought forth before Yin Hu. He extended his hand and picked it out of the air by placing his palm under it. The little thing fit in a single hand as it blinked its wide, innocent eyes blearily. It must have been asleep and being brought out had startled it.
It yawned wide.
Shui and Jun both aw-ed and oh-ed at the little thing.
Yin Hu couldnt help the small smile that spread across his face, thanking God for the fact that his beard and mustache covered the expression.
He scratched the top of its head with a long finger.
Said bird pressed against his touch, closing its eyes and thoroughly enjoying the attention it was receiving.
How is something this cute worthy of being a disciple?
The system pinged him a nano second as soon as he thought those words. It continued to prove how reliable it was when dealing with anything second or third party to him. Yet, whenever it was working with him directly it went all haywire and refused to find a base for him to work around. It almost seemed random.

Yin Hu stared with a slacked jaw as he read the entire notification a dozen times.
The girls had nearly ascended at receiving a C- ranked mutation and the two they received were the only ones he found that didnt threaten to start the process forcefully.
How is its potential at the B- rank? Shouldnt something force it to ascend? Or maybe
It hit Yin Hu what might have happened. He could come to a reasonable conclusion from what had happened to them not too long ago. The Central Power System crystal must have had something to do with it. Whether his shattering of the illusion and claiming it had either removed a burden that sucked away the potential and Qi of the planet or the release of the crystal primary job had added to how far the mutation and bloodline ranks could go up to.
Yin Hu couldnt care at that point.
He needed to test this out as soon as possible on the girls in hopes he could give them a higher, more potent bloodline and mutation.
Or maybe he could do all the testing on the other members of his Clan just in case he made a dozen mistakes.
Clean up the process on the guinea pigs so when it was the girls time, it would be a smooth process.

Yin Hu nodded. Well done, he would compliment them whenever they did something good. Reprimand them when they did bad. A balance he would need to keep strong. You keep proving a worthy member of my Hu Clan.

Yin Hu handed him the fat chick, ignoring the squawks of indignation and the demands for more pets. His intent was obvious. Send it back into the Sparring Instance for now. Mostly because the arrogant young master that had been hunting for it was still in the camp. Looking as pitiful as he had been after the pimp slap.
I better keep my disciples a hundred miles away from this guy in case he thinks up some ridiculous plot to kidnap them. One scare was bad enough.
