It has a cool world building with many possibilities. Unfortunately, author doesn't really care about that and its a constant stream of urban nonsense the characters are flat caricatures. Usually kids in novels are cute, here they are flat out annoying. Out of a thousand chapters like 800 are just the kids being annoying or MC resolving a ghost's issue that does not affect the broader story whatsoever. Also the story is a bonafide harem with the stupid trope of how the first female love interest is the one inciting the MC to create a harem out of nowehre, very forced and the MC is just a "helpless guy". Slop waste of time.

Quite good on a fast food -scale. Though it suffers from the same problem as other slice of life webnovels: once you read a couple hundred chapters things become repetitive and boring since the world, interactions and characters aren't that masterfully crafted.

    Worth trying.

As usual, I had to dive headfirst into this cesspool myself just to gauge the toxicity and the author's incompetence.

But this one? It actually wasn't half bad.

I'm currently on chapter 221. On the "enjoyment" scale, I'd give it a solid 3.8/5.

Objectively speaking, though, that drops to a 3.3/5. I can say that now because, after 220+ chapters, the hype has died down and the initial excitement has worn off.

It's a Slice of Life novel with a sprinkle of romance, everyday life, the joys of raising kids, sadness, and tragic drama.

    Pros:

    - Easy to read, simple prose.
    - No info-dumping.
    - The MC isn't a rabbit/horndog; he doesn't stick his dick in everything that moves.
    - Low stakes/tension; the pacing is smooth and steady.
    - The author tackles real modern issues: loneliness, unemployment, soft skills—basically the stuff guys aged 23–35 deal with.
    - Doesn't try to turn the MC into a murder machine obsessed with immortality right off the bat.
    - The comedy lands well. Every time the kids mess around, it makes me smile and want to pat them on the head myself.
    - The banter and jabs between characters feel fresh. No stiff dialogue or wooden interactions.
    - Characters feel alive. Plot-relevant characters don't just get "deleted" after 50 chapters; the author actually tries to utilize the cast.
    - No cringy "Chinese flavor" like "Aiya, look at this puppy" or "Come here, you rascal!" You know, that stereotypical, annoying "village dialect" that makes you want to puke. None of that here, which is great.
    - OMG!! No racism or nationalism, no "China Numba One" nonsense. 😂

    And now for the Cons:

    - The world feels like cardboard. The macro scene—everything outside the MC's city—is completely stagnant.
    - Even what does exist feels like a caricature. It's super basic: the city, the MC's house, his workplace, a restaurant, and that's it. 😂 That's the extent of the world-building details.
    - The MC isn't a transmigrator; he's a local guy. A bit wooden, like your typical toothless/generic Chinese protagonist. He only gets a bit more ruthless around chapter 200. But by then, he's practically OP. 😏
    - Zero suspense. You know exactly what to expect, and that's exactly what you get.
    - I don't know about you guys, but I see a subtle "pro-family" propaganda vibe here. It's almost unnoticeable and usually well-hidden behind plot points, but the "happy family is important" message is stressed in many situations. I don't mind it—it's not poison, but it's not honey either.
    - Harem!

Over 220 chapters, he's met 3-6 girls, mostly on blind dates. He only finds a girlfriend around chapter 150-180, sleeps with her (they sleep together often, and she gets tired while he doesn't, if that matters). The author tries to make it feel "relatable," but it's clearly heading toward a harem, though likely no more than 3 women.

The author introduces girls gradually rather than collecting them like Pokémon.

    - Practically no plot :(
    - The MC isn't rich; he lives like a pauper with a box of gold under his bed, even though his girlfriend is a company president.
    - He collects Pokémon 😂. Don't worry, it's not a harem or pedophilia. He collects little girls who were killed in childhood—drowned, beheaded, suicide, etc. He tries to reunite them with their families. Why is this a minus? Because it's repetitive. Repetition, repetition, repetition. No innovation or variety.

That's about it. Despite the weak writing style, cardboard world, lack of plot, pointless Golden Finger, and all the other downsides, this novel satisfies the following needs on Maslow's hierarchy:

    - Food, shelter – check.
    - Beautiful girl crazy about him – check!
    - Overwhelming power, destroying everything in his path – check!
    - Coworkers who feel like real friends; he works in a fun team – check!
    - People he's helped are immensely grateful, respect him, and tremble before his power; even the government reckons with him.
    - He wants to restore peace/the world and help lost souls re-enter the cycle of reincarnation.

    That's why it's a 3.8/5.

Recommended reading, but only to kill time.
