After the mc became a world master/ realm lord, it felt like it was looking up again, mc was doing interesting and wonderous things to cultivate and elevate his realm, but it still felt like the author was rushing things. The secondary characters at this point became very 2d and the mc pretty much started half cultivating for them and they started semi worshiping him except his fellow disciples.

Then came the reincarnation. The complete downfall of this novel. The story pretty much became the most cliché and generic cultivation novel in the world. The Mc started acting stupid. the side characters became stupid and completely shallow, either worshipping mc or stupidly antagonizing. The author also started trying to either justify mc or make him look like this complete Saint that is magnanimous to the high heavens, which further ruin the story. By this point mc pretty much started cultivating and doing things for his subordinates just for them to worship him more. I dropped it when the mc pretty much carried them into a secret realm and just started giving his subordinates and some allies from another sect, that also did nothing, treasures that are very useful for his own cultivation, even more than them. Not even 5 chapters later the author was trying to create tension by saying mc still need to cultivated more to make sure his realm isn't destroyed and a chap after u see mc giving his own precious cultivation resources to his subordinates from the mountain sea realm, not even from his own realm which would at least benefit him indirectly, that did absolutely nothing to deserve it. Generosity is fine, but even charity needs to be reasonable. This makes the mc look stupid and the side characters incompetent. It simply ruins all characters involved, especially when these characters are hailed as geniuses better than everyone else.

mc becomes the world lord. By then mc is literally only 13 years old and we accept that because top tier comprehension or something. Point is author has made it clear that mc can do the thing it takes other a millennia in mere hours or days with the only caveat being that his comprehension ability grows as his lifespan does and the more he has to draw on the greater his ability which is why he constantly reads books. Now imagine mc becoming the lord of the realm where he measures his age through epochs, his words not mine, and has the entire world's knowledge to draw on. You know the first thing that happens? Mc goes into seclusion for 20 f#cking years! This guy went into seclusion for almost double his age at the time just to achieve the next realm of cultivation, considering he went from a f#cking new born to realm lord in 13 total years which is including the time he wasn't even able to start martial arts cause of the development time of 3 years. After that I knew the author had run out of ideas when he started having them reincarnate in the upper realm, he wrote himself into a corner.
