“I’m quite traditional. I believe dating comes with responsibilities, so one must be cautious about it.”

“Zhou Yuwen! Let’s get remarried!”

“Damn it! Are you crazy? I haven’t even been married yet!”

“Stop talking nonsense! We already got our marriage certificate in our past life!”

“That was in the past life!”

It's more of a city novel. The characters are very well developed. However, I don't recommend reading beyond the 500th chapter, as it takes a trip to the United States, where the author demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of life outside of China. The number of harem members also becomes excessive, leading to a negative outcome.

    The novel is very good. All the drama made it an exciting read and i would recommend it. but I have some issues with some of the choices of the author;

This some crazy shit. It's a full dive into what a college life would be in 2013 china idk if it actually is. I find no one relatable other than Lu Yuhang. I liked no heroines.

Dropped it at chapter 410, rate 4/5

It seems obvious what will happen in this novel.

    But no, it’s not obvious.

This is very good spiritual nourishment—not a masterpiece, but it carries your soul into sweet romantic bliss.

The character interactions are simply amazing; the author maximized one aspect, namely—everyday life, romance, drama, and the chase of the girls after the MC.

And all of this intertwines like in women’s dramas. If you get through the first 10 chapters, it’s already hard to stop reading.

Harem or not a harem, the main thing is how it’s presented and how satisfied the reader is.

And I can say that I am fully satisfied. Because when reading cosmic battles, flying cultivators, or reincarnations into insects, it’s impossible to connect all that with your own experience.

But university life was something most people had, and it’s easy to get carried away by a past that can’t be returned, especially when it’s all well thought out.

    Pros:

    - Very vivid characters, they feel 3-4D; even the seemingly unimportant ones can influence the course of the story.
    - Smart, calculating girls. Each with her own personality.
    - Every character matters; no one disappears because the author forgot about them.
    - Forget the dumb harem-cultivator moments where all the women act like sisters. Here, the MC’s girls can cause a scandal and start fighting, pulling each other’s hair :)
    - A micro-world, since this is an urban romance, it’s clear the world itself won’t be fully revealed.
    - No “I know the future like Wikipedia”; the MC only knows a little, just the obvious things connected to his past life.
    - No stupid “our eyes met and now you’re my woman”; everything depends on how the relationships develop. There were many girls, but only a few achieved what they wanted. Note: here the girls are the hunters, pursuing the MC.
    - No “family is everything,” no racism.
    - No dumbing down of side characters just to glorify the MC. Up to chapter 230, every character feels just as lively and intelligent as the MC.
    - Character development is present for everyone, from the very start of the semester up to the second year—lots happens, and it all affects the characters.
    - The MC is reincarnated not alone, but together with his ex-wife. He runs away from her, while she wants to win him back before it’s too late.
    - No young masters who get slapped, only for their fathers and grandfathers to show up. A few local thugs were scared off, and that was it.
    - Honestly, there’s still much more, but those are just small things.

    Cons:

    - A micro-world; the entire plot revolves around a few universities, a few restaurants, and a handful of locations.
    - Even though the characters are very vivid, the cast is not that large.
    - The author sometimes tries to manipulate the readers.
    - Some story elements are copied and adapted for a male audience.
    - The MC grows slowly, in the sense that his business and the way he earns money develop like that of an ordinary person.
    - Around chapter 250, the quality of the novel drops from the initial 4.1 to 3.7, and then around chapter 370, it drops even lower, from 3.7 to 3.5, but the plot still remains interesting. I won’t say the reasons for the decline; if you notice them, you’ll understand, and if you don’t, that’s even better.
