What tf is with everyone having the same likes the dislikes? Really confusing me about the book. How is it?

Fatty is the best character in this entire novel he’s such a bro 😭 this man will never abandon the Mc holy shit I want a friend like him 😭 the Mc does not deserve him lol

I've read about 90+ chapters and this is what I can say.

a cliche. There are a lot of cliches. In the first adventure, they present a fat man who will live with the main character from now on and be in every adventure with him. Stupid fat guy. Also the everyday part of the story, after the first part of the adventure ended, the everyday story was a bit interesting. but then it's generally boring. I just started skipping 5-10 chapters at a time just to get the daily part of the story over.

Did I tell you about the cliche? Well, there are a lot of cliches. a very naive girl turns out to be a manipulator and so on. don't think that I said spoiler. no. because in every adventure there will be one such girl (weak, crybaby). There was also a girl at school and her teacher was bad and seduced her. well, it's enough, really, in almost every such novel there are 3 and 4 such parts.

I give it a 3, if the translation were better it would be a 3.8, but never a 4. For a horror novel, it lacked suspense and drama, the author focuses a lot on forced comedy with the interaction between the MC and Fatty, even in moments that should only have suspense. Jiang Cheng is very weird and not the cool kind of weird, he only opens his mouth to explain his reasoning and usually acts like a sociopath distancing himself from everyone. Ironically, everyone looks at him as if he were a strong opponent, whereas in reality, he would be one of the first to be killed in a situation like that because he seemed very suspicious. You know that tactic of creating very dumb secondary characters to make the MC seem intelligent? The author tries to create this impression that Jiang Cheng is different from the others, placing him as a kind of guide for Fatty who in my opinion is very stupid and clueless. Fatty is so clueless that he keeps shouting "doctor" in every paragraph for every new thing that happens, even when the protagonist asks him to be silent. There are funny scenes between the two, but Fatty gets annoying very quickly. Until chapter 129, we are not shown Jiang Cheng's mindset, whether he has a desire to get out of the nightmare, whether he wants to stay... He acts blaseé with and towards everyone. And because it doesn't have a well-done development, this more than hinders the immersion. Because he seems to already know what is about to happen, always.

The first (24 Chapters) gave me a good feel for this Novel. I'll boil it down to this, it's not a compelling read. I don't feel hooked by mystery and there's no rewards from the Nightmare realm to give my shriveled brain the happy chemical. The MC is an oddball and to me not the mysterious kind just the weird type.

This is an interesting comment section to say the least.

Dont take that 4+ star ⭐ rating at face value. If you are expecting LOTM Level stuff , then sorry. But it is quite good in its own place. The plot is consistent but with not so obvious plot holes. If you're here for horror exp then, good stuff. Grammar is readable. Donot expect thriller paraside level stuff.
